School Year Starting Logs: Train + Feast/Sorting!

WHEN: The day of September 2nd for the train, and at night for the feast!
WHERE: Hogwarts Express/Platform 9 3/4 and The Great Hall
WHAT: Gotta get back to Hogwarts! Back to witches and wizards and magical feasts! Students and teachers are finally heading back to school on the Hogwarts express, and with the new school year means sorting for the first years!
STATUS: Ongoing!
NOTE: There is a thread for the Train back to Hogwarts, and the Feast, with a subthread for the Sorting! First years can comment to be sorted, and everyone else can greet their new house mates/students!

The pleasure is all mine..um, want to sit down? [He gestures to the empty seat across from him.] We can jam a little if you like..

[She nods and sits.]

That sounds fun.

Okay. How about this one?
[He begins playing a popular song by a Wizarding band. The song is about a witch whose lover runs away with a Muggle. He hums along with it a bit since he honestly only knows the tune and not so much the words.]

Oh, I know this one. It's... Odd.

[She sings along regardless, of course.]

You think so? Muggles have a lot of songs about jilted lovers. I guess this is just one more take on a really old story.
[He smiles as she sings. She really does have a terrific voice.]

True, I just always felt like there was something weird about it... I don't know. Maybe it's just sort of sad for my tastes.

Lost love of any kind is always sad.
Hmm..I guess we could play something more cheerful. Do you have a favorite song? I might know it.

[He begins strumming the guitar again and it's "You Charmed The Heart Right Out of Me" by Celestina Warbeck, Not a favorite of his by any means but whenever he played at a Wizarding tavern he would sometimes get requests for it.]

[Rapunzel is more a sucker for whimsical, old-fashioned tunes, herself, but this is a song she knows well, so she sings along.]
