WHERE: Hogwarts Express/Platform 9 3/4 and The Great Hall
WHAT: Gotta get back to Hogwarts! Back to witches and wizards and magical feasts! Students and teachers are finally heading back to school on the Hogwarts express, and with the new school year means sorting for the first years!
STATUS: Ongoing!
NOTE: There is a thread for the Train back to Hogwarts, and the Feast, with a subthread for the Sorting! First years can comment to be sorted, and everyone else can greet their new house mates/students!

[Bruce twitches awake at the snuggling, simply too exhausted and half-asleep to react violently appropriately, blinking his eyes half-open and mumbling dazedly:]

[Blinks owlishly and nods, curling into Maxim and nuzzling the crook of his neck as well.]

'Kay... [Blinks eyes open, frowning.] Wait, did you say 'relatively unmolested'?

[As if on cue, Maxim's hand slips down and cops a feel] Nooooo, ov courze not!

[Jerks and flails weakly, eyes flashing green for a second before he clenches them shut, forcibly making the wolf back off even if it's too ready to jump out at this time of month.]

[Flails at the second grope a bit more strongly, eyes snapping open and bright green, cheeks red and irritation showing a bit.]

Shhh, iz okay! [Maxim just paps Bruce on the cheek, moving to cuddle him once more, if not more enthusiastically than before] Iz like my big brudder Dimo, he do dot too, vhen it dot time ov de month! Vhich, haha, Hy guezz it iz, specially sinze Mamma brewed op a nize beeg batch ov volfsbane before ve left. Hoy, hyu got zum ov dot, right, sinze ve goink to schkool now und schtoff?

I- what? It's not- [HE'S SO CONFUSED but the green's fading from his eyes at least.]

[Slowly curls against him again, frowning and nodding - at least now he knows why Maxim sometimes has a slightly wolfish scent clinging to him when he's been home.]

Uh, y-yeah. I had some before I left home today... [Curls more into Maxim, a bit defensively.] And yeah, sorting's not... not an option this time.

[rubrubrubs right behind the ears, his fingers expertly digging into Bruce's skull, massaging away tension.] Awww, dot schtinks. But at least hyu gonna be safe, zo dot's goot. Hy vould vurry, if hyu vas out dere vitout it.

[Smiling gently at the other boy, he shifts so that he's not lying so much on top of Bruce, and instead urges his head into his lap] No vunder hyu iz zo tired, dough. Hyu iz definitely not schleepink vell at night!

[Let's out a quiet groan at the massaging, eyes closing with bliss as he lets himself be rearranged, nuzzling Maxim's thigh without thinking.]

Yeah, that's one way to put it...

[Smiles a bit, distracted by the rubbing in a very good way - if he had a tail out, it'd be wagging.]

[Damn, Maxim is good. He's had plenty of practice, too.]
