WHEN: The day of September 2nd for the train, and at night for the feast!
WHERE: Hogwarts Express/Platform 9 3/4 and The Great Hall
WHAT: Gotta get back to Hogwarts! Back to witches and wizards and magical feasts! Students and teachers are finally heading back to school on the Hogwarts express, and with the new school year means sorting for the first years!
STATUS: Ongoing!
NOTE: There is a thread for the Train back to Hogwarts, and the Feast, with a subthread for the Sorting! First years can comment to be sorted, and everyone else can greet their new house mates/students!

[It's the name that catches Ib's attention. Hotaru Tomoe, the girl from the journal! Immediately Ib ceased whatever she was doing to wave from her seat, hoping that Hotaru would notice her. Hotaru's nervousness was nearly identical to the jumble of feelings Ib had gone through during her own Sorting, and she wanted to make sure Hotaru knew that everything was going to be ok.]

[It isn't till Hotaru comes to her seat, the shout of Hufflepuff still ringing in her ears. Quietly she tries to find a seat, smiling shakily at the enthusiasm of older housemates before sliding carefully into a spot next to Ib. Not recognising the girl she simply nods, giving her a shy smile]

[Oh, she didn't recognize her? Ib's own enthusiasm fades, and she starts to retreat back into her shell. Still, she returns Hotaru's smile with a shy smile of her own.]

C-congratulations Hotaru.

[glaives]

[It's a lot different when you meet someone who you were only writing to face to face, and Hotaru hadn't been paying full attention to those sorted before her. But still she smiles politely, wanting to make a friend]

Thank you. I.... I'm afraid I don't think I know your name.

I'm Ib Amano. It's nice to meet you.

[glaives]

Oh! Ib! [Hotaru flushes, looking embarrassed that she didn't realise.] I'm sorry, it is quite different talking to someone in person, I didn't realise it was you. Forgive me?

Ah, it is not your fault! I should have introduced myself properly to you first. Will you please accept my apology instead?

[glaives]

Ah it's fine! [Wow they will forever be the most polite] There is nothing for you to apologise for, Ib. But I'm still sorry I didn't realise... I wasn't paying much attention before they called me name, I must have missed you.
