WHEN: The day of September 2nd for the train, and at night for the feast!
WHERE: Hogwarts Express/Platform 9 3/4 and The Great Hall
WHAT: Gotta get back to Hogwarts! Back to witches and wizards and magical feasts! Students and teachers are finally heading back to school on the Hogwarts express, and with the new school year means sorting for the first years!
STATUS: Ongoing!
NOTE: There is a thread for the Train back to Hogwarts, and the Feast, with a subthread for the Sorting! First years can comment to be sorted, and everyone else can greet their new house mates/students!

[Even though it had been the best holiday ever Xion was glad to be getting back to Hogwarts. When she wasn't gallivanting around the country with Roxas and Axel, things at home were a little...stifling.

Not that anyone would know that, Merlin forbid.

She kicks her feet as she sits, waiting for the train to arrive at Hogwarts (or at least until the snacks cart comes by). She does want to get up and wander around for a bit, but that runs the risk of crashing into people...or accidentally walking in on them changing into their uniforms.

That's just plain rude. So she waits.]

[Oh, that's a familiar face. Greg stopped right outside her compartment to say hi, only to realise belatedly that he didn't know her name. He knows she's a Hufflepuff, and that she's always around two other guys, but he's never actually spoken to her, save for the usual "Good mornings" and "Good nights".

Still, he's got her attention now. Steeling himself onwards to hopefully avoid hurting her feelings and embarrassing himself, he nods at her.]

Hallo. It's good to see you again.

[faintwaves]

...Um...it's Xion.

[It's all right, she's perfectly aware of the fact that she's an enigma to most of the other folks in her house. It's something that was entirely her own fault, but appropriate at the time.]

How was your holiday, Gregory?

[But of course she knows him, observing is easier than interacting.]

[bubblingover]

[As feferi was walking around, as she walks past Xion's compartment, she does a double take and notices her. She swings opens the door and greets her enthusiastic.]

Xiiioooon!!!

[faintwaves]

[She's not exactly going to jump out of her skin but dang that actually surprised her. One would think after going on four years of being dormmates she'd be used to that.]

--Ah--hi, Feferi.

[bubblingover]

[This is what happens when Feferi is overly excited to see her dormmate again. She certainly missed Xion over the holidays and looking forward to spenting more time with her. So all the hugs. ALL OF THEM.]

Xiooooon, i missed you!! How was your summer?

[faintwaves]

Oh...you know, the usual.

[And she just...lets her hug. What the hell, it's Feferi, she certainly doesn't mean harm.]

Towards the end of it Axel and Roxas came to visit me, though! We got to go out to the countryside and play Quidditch!

--Oh, but don't tell anyone, I just told my parents I was going for a walk.

Well, even if it's just the usual at least you had fun right?

[She gives Xion, the biggest smile and also a finger across her lip to indicate that she will keep this secret.]

You know i am good at keeping secrets!! I wouldn't want to get you, Roxas or Axel in trouble anyway, but sounds like you guys had heaps of fun!

But yeah, i am glad that you had a great summer, i wonder what is in store for us this year at school...

Fourth.

[And people don't usually walk up to her and say hi when she's purposely staying out of the way. Unless they know her anyway.]

Are you a first year?

Yeah! I'd say that was a good guess, but I'm kinda short to really be anything else.

[faintwaves]

[She blinks at that. Then looks down at herself, then back up to him. Finally she looks away, fidgeting and red-faced.]

Um, I don't....I don't judge by...appearance.

Oh. Really, it's okay. No big deal.

...I'm Xion. Um...welcome? Nice to meet you?
