Yay camp!

WHAT: First two days of camp! Time to get settled in and explore what's around.
STATUS: ONGOING

The camp isn't too different from any other camp. Cabins where people will stay, a space for a bonfire, a nearby lake for everyone to swim in, and of course, a thick morning mist all around the camp, because it's pretty early in the morning.

Still! There's stuff to do already. Those beds won't assign themselves, nor will those bags unpack themselves. Like it's just been said, there's no marked beds, so it's up to each and every one of you to work out the sleeping arrangements yourselves.

But once you're done, you're free to roam around, take a swim, climb a tree, explore the woods, and other assorted camp activities you do when you have free time.

[Steve has unpacked his things, claimed his bunk, and now he's wandering through the camp. He winds up sitting underneath a tree, sketchbook on his knees and a pencil in his hands. The scenery is amazing, and he wants to capture it.]

[HI, Steve, hi. You now have a purple haired boy sprawled across your back, arms wrapped loosely around your neck as he peers over your shoulder] Vat hyu doink~?

[Hey, hey, should you even be out here? Are you sure you're not gonna like, get bit by a mosquito and get malaria or something?]

[He just about face plants into his sketchbook, twisting to look back at Maxim.]

I was just sketching some of the trees. It's really nice out here, not like Belfast at all.

[Hey he can live outdoors okay. He's not gonna die! Yet.]

[Steve, you are like a fragile china doll.]

Tress are borink. [Maxim huffs, then gets off Steve, marching out in front of him and striking a pose] Hyu should draw me instead. Hy haff more color.

[Like doesn't mean he is!!]

Trees are- [Staaares. He shakes his head, snorting.] Alright, alright. I can't promise it'll be any good, though.

[Loki sees Steve sitting under the tree and approches him, smiling]

Hello, Steve! How are you?

[He glances up, waving at Loki.]

I'm great, thanks. And you?

I am wonderful.

[He gives a large grin. He is truly very happy to be here.

He sits next to Steve and peers at his sketchbook]

What are you drawing?

Glad to hear that.

[Turns it so Loki can see.]

I'm just sketching out the scenery.

[Van plops himself down next to Steve, holding a book in his hand. It looks like a novel of some sort.]

May I see?

[He glances at the other, nodding. He turns his sketchbook, and the page is absolutely filled with sketches of the nearby trees. The page is quickly becoming very, very cramped, actually.]

It's not very good, but...I'm practicing.

I don't know, I think it looks quite good! Then again, I've absolutely no artistic talent unless you count decorative coffee-making.

[He's learning how to make those cute ones with the flowers and dragons and hearts in them. They're great fun!]

Decorative coffee-making? That sounds like a lot of work.

[Woah wait where did he come from. He's going to twist to look at him, a bit confused and flustered.]

[Yeah, isn't Gamzee eeriely quiet sometimes?] Damn, bro, you got some skills!

[Going to thud down next to Steve, covered from head to toe in mud and looking too happy about it.]

Why is it so HOT!?

[Glances at Thor, then back at his sketchbook to draw some more happy trees.]

[He wipes a hand over his forehead, raising an eyebrow at the mud on his hand.]

I was wrestling with Maxim. Also I tried to catch a frog but I didn't. I did not want one anyway.

[Suddenly bitty peering over his shoulder from around the tree.]

What're you drawing?
