[Dirk is settled in as much as he's going to. He still isn't sure what to think of this whole backwoods wilderness thing, so after pulling out his mobile and seeing yes, he still has no signal here, he drags himself off of the bottom bunk and tentatively walks outside and looks around.

Does he look as out of place as he feels? Probably.]
