WHAT: Tony is taking his collection of misfits to New York.

[It's that time of year again when Tony packs up and goes to New York for a week or two. But this year is different. This year he's actually decided that not only does he have friends, but he likes them enough to invite them to his second home in his Upper East Side penthouse apartment.

He plans to make sure everyone has a good time and hope that it doesn't turn out to be the worst week of his life.]

We do not need to tranqulize him! Calm down, Bruce! Come and eat!

[Thor isn't great at reading the mood, but he's picking up some strange vibes from Bruce right now.]

[Thor practically wiggles over to Tony, bouncing on his heels as he waits.]

Can we have more of the coca cola??

[arrogantalloy]

Okay, pretty sure that one isn't even a word. It's 'Perfectly'. You've been in England how many years man.

[Then he raises an eyebrow]

Or do you do that to get girls interested? So they can 'teach' you English?

[arrogantalloy]

Just call it Coke, big guy. An yeah, sure. The stands will have coke... Maybe Pepsi, but we can just find one with coke.

[Tony steps into the lift as it pings and opens. He presses the button for the ground floor then leans against the wall.]

[brothor]

Close enough! [He drops the pillow to throw his hands up in the air.]

Some of us do not need to try to get the attention of girls.

[brothor]

Coke sounds strange. [He crinkles his nose.] Pepsi is filthy.

[arrogantalloy]

No, coca cola sounds stra-

[Tony can't finish his sentence for laughing at Thors use of 'filthy' for Pepsi.]

Okay, how is it we don't get along like this all the time?

[arrogantalloy]

I never used the word try. Try implies that it might not work.

[brothor]

Oh, you try. You try very hard. Sometimes it doesn't work. [Smiiiile.]

[brothor]

You were an ass and I beat you up for it, did you forget?

[arrogantalloy]

[Tony looks at him blandly and sighs]

Sometimes, you are way too literal. And uh, that fight was interrupted, so you didn't beat me up for it so much as hit me a couple of times. Also, don't forget that I knocked you to the ground, there.

[arrogantalloy]

[Frowns]

I don't try hard at all. And it always works.

[You're going to trigger his ego~]

[brothor]

You force smiles.

[brothor]

I would have, though! [Shrug!] It doesn't matter.

[arrogantalloy]

You know you're right, it doesn't matter.

Because you know what?

[Tony points at a cart on the corner.]

Because I spy hotdogs. You're going to love American mustard.

[Heads towards it with a grin.]

[arrogantalloy]

[Tony stares at him for a moment with a carefully neutral look on his face.]

Now why would I have to force something like that?

[brothor]

Because you are not the type who gives away smiles without good reason.

[arrogantalloy]

Huh.

[Tony raises an eyebrow ever so slightly.]

You know, this moment of clarity of yours. It's. Well it's disturbing, but hey, look another layer to the Valhalla wonder.

[Tony smirks slightly.]

Doesn't mean I'm forcing it.

[brothor]

Oh my gosh! I can already smell them!

[arrogantalloy]

Gosh?

[Tony grins]

Just wait till you taste them.

[Walks up to the vendor and asks for one plain mustard and ketchup hotdog, and one with the lot. When the Vendor goes to hand them to him. Tony takes a step back.]

Thor, could you.. I don't like things handed to me.

[Tony gives the man a twenty, dismissing his need for change.]

[brothor]

You are most of the time. You want girls to think you like them, so you fake it.

[Shrug!]

[brothor]

[Thor quirks an eyebrow at Tony, but he's happy and eager to take the hotdogs from the other man. He does, however, take a bite out of both of them.]

[arrogantalloy]

Hey!

[He grabs his hot dog out of Thor's hand]

You know that's biting the hand that feeds you, right? And hey, you're ruining the experience by eating two different hot dogs at once. You have to savour flavours.

[Tony shakes his head and bites into his hot dog. Apparently not giving a damn about the fact that it has Thor cooties on it.]

There's nothing for them to think about. I do like girls.

And you know, this isn't a discussion I want to have with you... Well ever. Because well you're way off base for one, and for another. Not my therapist.

[Tony tosses his pillow onto the bare couch and starts to walk off. Not at all liking the fact that Thor can 'see' him so easily.]
