While the easily accessible rooms in the very large Dunbroch home were perfectly muggle, for the sake of business with muggles, the rest of the house - including the large den and dining room where most of the party was set up, was filled with magicals thises and thats. Something for everyone's comfort level, really. An array of wizarding world treats and good Scottish eats were set on the table, and magical, red bubbles that smelled like hamburgers when popped filled the air in the den.

Merida was quick to hide everyone away as they came, making sure all was ready for the guest of honor.

Madeline had pushed back her trip to Italy to come visit, taking the Floo to Merida's home since her father forbid her to make that long train ride back. Stepping into the main room, she looks around and blinks at a bubble popping right on her nose.

"Oh--Hamburger. Very nice touch Merida--I hope I'm not late. It was all last minute."0

Katniss stared at the bubbles, wondering who came up with such a spell. She was at least glad they didn't smell like bad perfume when popped.

Thor is resisting the urge to pop more of those delicious bubbles to shuffle awkwardly around looking for the birthday girl.

He was at a loss for a present so his mother made him get these ridiculously adorable hair clips. He's kind of embarrassed because he wanted to get her something cool, like a T-rex.
