[FINALLY! The dawn America day! Steve would soon arrive expecting nothing more than a sleepover. HOW WRONG HE WAS! Thor has set up a nice little shindig here and his parents were kind enough to leave the kids for some totally cool unsupervised party time.

The Odinson house is quite large and filled with quite a few curious wizarding quirks, so this time the halfbloods will be the ones getting culture shocked.]

[STEVE WAS NOT EXPECTING THIS. He's being crushed in a hug almost as soon as he gets in the door, and when he looks around the house is decorated, but he's not sure if that's normal wizarding things or not. He knows it's his birthday, but...he wasn't expecting anything.]

What's the occasion?

[THAT'S WHAT SURPRISES ARE FOR he gives him the biggest damn hug and is trying so hard not to laugh.]

Happy birthday!

[OH GOD THOR HUGS HIS BODY. Thank God he took the remaining bits of Madame Pomfrey's potions with him because ow.]

You're throwing me a party?

[He finally lets go.]

Of course!

[Okay he can breathe. He smiles at Thor, looking confused.]

A surprise one, obviously. All by yourself?

Mostly! I am the most important one though, I did all of the work!!

[His smile brightens, and now he's hugging Thor.]

Thanks. I wasn't expecting this, at all.

That is why it was a surprise!

[Oh my god this never happens! He's just going to stay perfectly still incase he scares him away]

Well, I mean. From you.

[He releases Thor after another moment, smiling up at him.

Were you not expecting me to kick up a fuss for my best friend! You are so silly!

I expected a fuss, just not one so...large.

[wow no he isn't silly at all.]

Then you truly are silly. You deserve it, you are a great person!

You're not so bad yourself.

[He is not blushing really.]

But I already know that. [The most charming grin.]

[Snorts. It's very attractive.] Never change, Thor.

[He VERY GENTLY elbows Steve with a wry smile] Everybody changes Steve! You just became older!

[He feigns being hurt, snorting.] You know that's not what I meant!

[Chuckles.] I am going to get taller, too.
