WHERE: Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry; Broom cleaning is on the front lawn, but feel free to wander!
WHAT: Students and Teachers are cleaning brooms for the surrounding community in attempt to raise funds. Crazy hijinks ensue when the 4th wall is promptly broken.

[ Rose hugs are nice!! :D If Jade had a tail, it would be wagging. ] We could explore, or go look at the magic brooms...do you think your needles count as magic wands?

If my assumptions are correct about the origins of this world then I do believe they'd be a little closer to cursed objects.

[the thought makes her smirk a little] I believe that a little exploration is in order. There's no need to leave an entire castle unnoticed, after all.

Oh. Well, I still think they're cool. I wish my rifles were magical.

[ Wandering then.... ] Maybe we can find something spooky, like ghosts or zombies!

I think that you more than make up for your rifles mundane qualities in other ways, Jade.

As to our quest, it shouldn't be particularly difficult. Both the grounds and the castle itself are practically crawling with unnatural fauna, undead or otherwise. [Rose stop your HP nerd is showing...]

[ She looks at the other girl questioningly. ] What do you mean? Have you been here before?

When would I ever have had an opportunity to visit this place before? [she gets a flat look in response] I'm simply using my critical analysis skills to draw conclusions about our surroundings.

Okay, if you're sure...I wouldn't be surprised if you took a mystical oogly tentacle trip to other universes, though!

Only when there's a clearance sale. You'd be shocked at just how expensive tentacle travel can be at the wrong time of year.

I bet! I'm sure glad I can see a bunch of things just by staying in one place.

It's much more convenient, although I'll always prefer the experience that the various rigors of travel offer. It adds some flavor to the whole thing, really.

I think I like just fine. [ Giggles. ] I used to think you lived in a giant, scary castle!

I can only imagine the intense horror that pulsed through your entire being when you realized the truth of the matter. A giant scary castle pales in comparison to a massive pretentious European rave complex.

I was so scared, you just can't imagine how scared I was!

Likely not, but my literary-minded brain could certainly conjure up some descriptions which come close.

A broad vocabulary and the ability to string the words in it do not always follow a keen intellect, but I'll look at the spirit of the compliment rather than the letter and offer my gratitude in return. We make a good pair in that regard.

If they are then I'm certain that at some point we'll be hearing the commotion from when Strider convinces John to jump off one of the moving staircases.
