WHEN: No set time. But close to a Hogsmeade weekend.
WHERE: Great Hall at lunch time.
WHAT: Tony's out to find out what he's going to be doing for Hogsmeade weekend.
STATUS: On going.

Tony launched himself into the great hall, and looked out over the tables, looking to see who was around for him to harass.
Faces of friends and girls were all going through his mind.

But what did he want to do?

He could always go to his houses table and see what the other's were thinking of doing. There was always science to be had with his house mates.

Or find himself on the Gryffindor table, he could see Steve and Thor. They were always up for some interesting fun. He knew if he could make something sound fun to the loud Scandinavian. That Steve would surly follow to make sure they didn't get into trouble. Steve was good like that.

But then, there was also all the girls that were around, and girls were always fun to share a butter beer with.

The teen decided to test the waters, he approached the tables and looked around at the others.

"So. Are we going to have a great Hogsmeade weekend? Or are we all going to have a great hogsmeade weekend? Right"

Like always he brought his flamboyant American charm to the situations.

Looking at her with a slight grin, Tony waves a dismissive hand.

"As thrilling and dangerous as it looks, I don't do well in team situations. And I have a thing about bludgers coming at me. If we had a broom track and field, you wouldn't stop me. But Quidditch? Not really my thing."

Tony was horrible with team activities, he'd fight for the lead, and even if he got it would do his own thing anyway. It made him unpopular, so he'd try to avoid them.

"Watching it is more fun anyway. I've seen you out there, like a sparrow, zipping about"

Coraline chuckled a little. She knew what he meant. She had a pretty big stubborn streak herself and a bit of a temper to match. She learned the hard way that you couldn't always just go out and do your own thing.

"It's not that hard to work as a team. As long as everyone plays their prospective positions things usually work out on their own."
She heaved a big sigh.
"And we'll need a new captain soon too...it's gonna be a big year next year so I'm working on helping recruit as many good players as I can."

"I've never played, so I have no idea if I'm even a good player."

He looks thoughtful for a second then shrugs.

"Tell you what, I'm not promising anything. But I might think about looking at try outs next year."

Damn. He needs to work on girls being a weakness.

"I'd never played before coming here but as soon as I saw the game I fell in love with it and I just HAD to do it for myself."

She clapped her hands.

"Awesome! Just give it a try, that's all I ask! I can even help you out if you want."

Tony grinned at her obvious excitement at his tentative replies.

"Oh? You'll help me out?"

He grin becomes more cheeky, as he decides to flirt playfully. As excited as Coraline is, Tony was starting to feel a little pushed about it, and had every intention of changing the subject.

She smiled back. If Tony really was that good of a flier she'd be thrilled.

"Of course I would. Even if you're not interested in actually playing just going out and flying is always fun. I always really miss it when I'm home for the summer."

She noticed that Tony seemed bored just talking about Quidditch and felt kind of bad that she'd dominated the conversation.

"Uh, anyways..got any plans for summer?"

"You can't fly when you're at home? So, then you live either with or really near muggles then?"

Tony lived close enough to muggles that he had to be careful about people seeing him fly. But he got around it by flying around at night.

At her second questioned he shrugged a little.

"I'm thinking of going to New York for a couple of weeks, or the whole Summer holidays really."

"Yeah, my parents are Muggles and we live in the city. I really only get a flying break if I go back to America and stay with my Grandma."
She nodded at where he was going. Lucky!
"Oh that's awesome! I bet New York is fun. I'm from Michigan..it's pretty boring there."

"Getting the feeling you don't get to go back to your grandma's too much. Hey. He's a suggestion, totally open, feel free to say no. Stark hall is about 2 hours from central London. We've got plenty of space for flying."

Tony didn't so much offer for Coraline to come to his house to fly, so much as pitch it. And why not, he liked flying and well, a cute girl shouldn't be denied her right to fly because of where she lives.

"New York is pretty lively. Puts London to shame, that's certain. I've never been to Michigan. Do they have cows? Somewhere has cows, or am I thinking Minnesota?"

"Not much..we usually go back once a year..either in the summer or around Christmastime. My parents are writers so we don't travel a lot."

She paused at his offer. She had no idea what Stark Hall was but a place to fly in the summer sounded fun and Tony seemed like a cool guy. It was nice finally meeting someone in her House who wasn't uptight and boring.

"Wow really? That's really nice of you to offer! I'd have to talk to the parentals and see what they say. Thanks though!"

She actually had to think about it. Did Michigan have a lot of cows? Not that she'd seen..
"I think that's Ohio..I did live pretty close to Lake Michigan though! We used to go there on weekends my parents weren't working."

"Talk away, they can even come if they want."

Tony shrugs, it didn't bother him either way.

"Lake Michigan? Not bad. Quite nice actually. Sounds like a lot of fun"
