Schmoozing for a good weekend.

WHEN: No set time. But close to a Hogsmeade weekend.
WHERE:  Great Hall at lunch time.
WHAT: Tony's out to find out what he's going to be doing for Hogsmeade weekend.
STATUS: On going.



Tony launched himself into the great hall, and looked out over the tables, looking to see who was around for him to harass.
Faces of friends and girls were all going through his mind.

But what did he want to do?

He could always go to his houses table and see what the other's were thinking of doing. There was always science to be had with his house mates.

Or find himself on the Gryffindor table, he could see Steve and Thor. They were always up for some interesting fun. He knew if he could make something sound fun to the loud Scandinavian. That Steve would surly follow to make sure they didn't get into trouble. Steve was good like that.

But then, there was also all the girls that were around, and girls were always fun to share a butter beer with.

The teen decided to test the waters, he approached the tables and looked around at the others.

"So. Are we going to have a great Hogsmeade weekend? Or are we all going to have a great hogsmeade weekend? Right"

Like always he brought his flamboyant American charm to the situations.

Katniss slightly shifted away from her new companion.

"I have an easier time getting certain things from Hogsmeade than I do from Diagon Alley. I have to get this done before summer break."

"Me, I just get Jarvis to get what need via owl."

Oh the hard life of a rich student.

"If there's something you need but you can't get. I could probably hook you up"

Katniss shook her head and set her shoulders back. She didn't like people doing her favors.

"No thanks, I get what I need each time."

[arrogantalloy]

Tony raises an eyebrow.

"Not even it's better quality, for sub-standard prices?"

[cantstarvethisfire]

"Prices don't matter since I just trade for items."

[arrogantalloy]

"Wait, you actually trade things? I thought you were being, you know, cute. And implying you trade coins for potion things."

He takes a second to absorb, before moving on.

"What do you trade?"

"I buy things when I have to, but I trade when I have something they want. Haven't you ever traded for something?"

She shakes her head with a laugh.

"Stuff I can find around the grounds. The forest has a lot of things."

He shakes his head, looking like she told him a wild story.

"Ah, no, no I haven't. Other than insults with Thunder-Dome in Gryffindor"

He's referring to Thor of course.

"Can't say I've felt enough like Robin Hood to actually want to go near the forest."

"The forest isn't for everyone. It's a pain when the teachers find you leaving it too."

"Really? I would never have guessed that, what with it being called 'the Forbidden Forest' I would just guessed it's open to all. But then, I can't really make fun, I don't have the cleanest record with the professors"

"They act like there are werewolves out there."

[arrogantalloy]

"Werewolves? In the forest? Not possible."

However he did know there was one in the great hall however.

"Doesn't mean there aren't things in there that are almost as bad. I hear centaurs aren't all that friendly"

"That's what I said, but that just got points docked."

Katniss took a bite of toast, and being the lady she is, talked with her mouth half full.

"They aren't. I steer clear of them, and I heard there are giant spiders if you go far enough."

Tony nodded understanding about her getting docked points for speaking what she saw as true. It happened to him all the time.

He did raise his eyes at the mention of spiders.

"Giant, huh? How giant is giant?"

"The size of a fourth year."

[arrogantalloy]

Tony looked suitably impressed with that size.

"That. Is a big... I think I'm going to need some bigger shoes."

"Are you lending your shoes to a spider?"

[arrogantalloy]

Tony gave a rich chuckle. That was not the reply he expected to get from her.

"If you mean, lending them to a spider you mean step on them, then yes. Yes I will be."
