Bastards have feelings too.
WHO: Murdoc, Sybille and Peter
TONE: Sad feelings
RATING: ~PG13
WHEN: After the teacher's post.
WHERE: Outskirts of the forest.
WHAT: Murdoc and Sybille are grumpy and Peter wants to help
STATUS: Ongoing
It's been an...emotionally stimulating few days for Murdoc. So much so that he hasn't left his room for a particularly long time. He was tired of dealing with the past, but it seemed to be thrown in his face at every corner in this god damn castle. It was getting to the point where people he hardly knew seemed to make comments about his personal life.
When he hasn't been hiding in his room he's been looking haggard and acting short with just about everyone. He hasn't felt the urge to talk to anyone, but Peter was begining to become insistant. Begrudginly, he agreed to meet with both the charms and flight teacher in Peter's home. Only, when he follows the directions, there is no home. Just a tree. He looks blearily around for something that could be a house and that's when he notices the ladder.
This isn't just a house. This is a tree house.

But he hadn't asked and he knew inviting others out risked being found out. But he didn't care, because he cared about them, so he set about having some tea ready for their arrival which should be soon.

She steels herself, gritting her teeth as she notices Murdoc standing in front of the ladder. She pushes past him without comment, not even bothering to glance back at him as she scaled the ladder. She was angrier than she should be, and she knew that...but she couldn't find it in herself to care.

He looks up just in time to be pushed out of the way and scowls at Sybille as she scales the ladder. He had thought they'd resolved their arguement in the library, though he expected things to be tense.
He frowns up at her but looks away almost straight after, feeling just a bit perverse for watching her climb up this absurd ladder. He hoists himself up and follows after her, trying to remain a few rungs below her at all times.

He waited until they were up the ladder before making himself known. He'd set up drinks--anything he could imagine either of them wanting, which included alcohol--and set about pouring himself a glass of pumpkin juice he'd gotten from the kitchens. "Anything to drink?"

She settles herself in one of the chairs, crossing her legs and eying the two. She's wary, and more than a little annoyed. "Is this going to take long? I have important things to do."

He nods at Peter in greeting and brushes himself off, humming in response to the question. "Whatever is strongest, Thanks." He moves to perch on a chair, snorting pointedly at Sybille and muttering to himself. "I'll need it.."
