WHAT: Gamzee is throwing a birthday bash for his bro! Everyone is invited!

There was food. There was music. There were sparkly lights. There was booze. There was even a ridiculously oversized cake, though that had yet to be wheeled in. Gamzee had done everything he could to make sure the birthday party he was throwing for Tavros was well attended, and everyone knew the best way to get a hopping party was to let the Hufflepuffs know they were all invited. Which he had. And then, of course, he had to get the word out to absolutely everyone else he didn't think would be a bastard to his boy.

And then it was just a matter of getting permission to use one of the empty classrooms (he made sure to go through Iroh), setting everything up, waiting for people to come, throwing a blanket silence charm in the hall to disguise everything, and then dispatching Karkat to go get Tavros. When the Hufflepuff showed up, there would be a roomful of people waiting to yell surprise at him, a band with some sweet tunes, and a particularly tastyfine present Gamzee intended to give his bro later.

Because some shit was worth the wait.

The near invisible smirk becomes a tiny bit bigger, Sue tucking the small gloves into one of the pockets in her pants, snagging a drink from a table. Carefully she sniffs it, trying to pick up on any of the alcohol she's seen being passed around before taking a careful sip and continuing her tormenting.

"Blonde works better for sweet. Blonde ringlets. And you need more bows." She'd almost chuckle at how feminine that move was. "The make up's not bad though."

"I shall make a note to inform Makara of that, for the next time he feels like turning me into his living doll." With a sniff, he reached up, curling a bit of hair around his fingertips. It was amazing how feminine a boy so big, so insistent on traditional gender roles could be. "Though I'm sure if you suggested it to him yourself, he'd be very keen to please."

"The clown? I thought you didn't like him?" It's ridiculous. A clearly obviously male bodied boy defying gender roles and a teeny androgynous Japanese girl. She's half sure there's an anime for this. "Any reason you're his doll? Has it got to do with pleasing?"

"I don't." And that's all he has to say on the matter. At least, on that part of the matter. He purses his lips and shoots Noodle a look out of the corner of his eyes at her question, puffing up a bit like a bird. "Don't be so lewd. It is not ladylike behavior. And for the record, no, it most certainly is not. It is none of your business, to be precise."

In other words, Gamzee has dirt on him that he actually doesn't want people to know.

"And yet you listen to him." Fiddling with the condensation on her cup, Sue almost seems to let it go. Almost. But with that next little dig she laughs, flicking her head so her fringe parts just enough for him to see him. "I never said I wanted to be ladylike. And if you think that's lewd you would never survive in my home town, or around Murdoc."

"Whatever he's got on you must be good."

"I have reasons." That are powered by a fullforce death glare. He's not going to say anything else. He doesn't want to say anything else.

Fine she'll just smirk right on back, his glare having no affect on her. Another small sip of punch and Sue crans her head, trying to see over the top of everyone else for the heads of her bandmates with little success. Oh well, they'll come back eventually.

"Did he say you have to stay here for the whole time in that outfit?"

"Yes. And I have to be nice, too." Sulk. Being nice is hard, Noodle. It's hard and you don't understand.

"...It must be really good." Laughing so much at you. In her head.

And then after silently smirking for a bit she'll just shrug, turning to the table to look for snacks. "You don't have to nice to me if you want. For one, I don't care and you attempts to be cruel are mostly stupid, and for two, you look like you're constipated right now, with these attempts. Nice doesn't suit you."
