That last comment got a bit of a laugh. Sometimes, even when he remembered what Marshall was it was easy to forget how old he really was.

"I suppose the history books do tend to romanticise the old days," he commented. It did depend on the book you got, of course, but it always seemed to be either making it seem better or far worse than it actually was.
