WHAT: Jane takes a break from studying. Kind of.

Okay, looming exams? Maybe getting to Jane, just a little. So much so that she’s settled high atop the astronomy tower at night with her journal and sketchbook, half doodling, half studying, half thinking. Her mind is ever in the stars, or so Erik says. That will never change.

Even Jane realized when she needed a break though, and her textbooks, while certainly within reach, are closed and in her bag. She’s leaning back on her hands, head tipped up as the moon douses her in soft light, eyes closed.

She’s just asking to be pestered, isn’t she.

"Hey, Bruce."

She smiles up at him when he appears, and gestures.

"Want some tea...?" It's easy enough to heat it back up.

"Oh, that'd be great yeah." Grinning, Bruce comes closer and sits a bit away from her. "What're you doing up here?"

[rosenbridges]

"Looking at the stars, studying..." She passes him over a cup. "Thinking about the universe."

[greenmoonrising]

"Heavy thoughts for exam period, don't you think?" he asked quietly with a small smile, accepting the tea with a murmured thanks.

[rosenbridges]

"Maybe. But I've always been kinda like that." A little too serious, too thoughtful. "Is it a bad thing?"

[greenmoonrising]

"Depends on if you're always swamped with heavy thoughts or if it's just during exam period."

[rosenbridges]

"Hm. Both, I think," she smiles good naturedly. "My godfather says I have a 'heavy mind' sometimes. But...I do know how to have fun, too."

[greenmoonrising]

"Good, otherwise life would be pretty difficult for you," he answered with a shrug, sipping his tea. "How's your exam prep going?"

[rosenbridges]

"Mhm. It would be. And, you know -- pretty good, actually. I think I'm ready for them." She hopes so, anyway. "What about you?"

[greenmoonrising]

"I'm fine. Not looking forward to DADA but other than that, I should be fine," he answered with a shrug. "Thor's been a bit edgy because of OWLs and all but I think he'll be fine."
