WHAT: Canon selves event! A seance gone awry has had its effect on the school, bringing about mental and physical changes to students and staff alike! Full details of the combinations of effects can be found here.
STATUS: Ongoing! Use whichever style you like.

[Spring brings change, but that change isn't always a good thing! Whether your character has changed entirely into their canon self, or only in part, please keep in mind that whatever they know/learn of their original canon during this event will be unable to be clearly recalled - disappearing with their past self - when the event is over. This is to avoid fourth-walling after the conclusion of the event.

Please also keep in mind that some people will not want to fourth-wall during the event! Make sure it's alright with the other player before you decide to do that. Above all, though, have fun!]

[His bloodpusher hammers in his chest as he's pinned back, and his skin pales instantly. His threatening facial expression slackens with surprise and he stares at the adult troll with confusion. THIS troll looked like he was from the same universe as the one troll he submits to... but then why wasn't he watching his internal organs get pulled out by those massive claws for his insubordination?

His mental voice is calmer this time as he asks in Beforian:]

... Who the fuck are you?

[He may not understand the language, but he can catch the gist of that question. Of course, that means that Kurloz isn't going to understand his answer, but he should at least get his name.] Rhys Rhydderch.

[He loosens his grip, allowing the boy free - he's not real threat, after all.] Come. We are going to find Dolores, and she will at least allow me to communicate with you.

[He jerks his shaggy head, to indicate the boy should follow him.]

[Kurloz rubs the spot Rhys' claws had been pinning him by and regards the troll suspiciously before slowly following. The lumbering giant seemed to have a better idea of what was going on than he did, after all.]

[Unfortunately, the nurse has got her hands full, so there's a bit of a wait, but eventually they can get a spell cast that will allow Kurloz to hear and understand English as Beforian, and for Rhys to do the same in the other direction.]

Now. You will tell me who you are and what you thinking is going on, lad.

[Stares at Rhys and concentrates, his mental voice grumbling into the big troll's mind.]

My motherfucking name is Kurloz Makara, indigoblood from Beforus. Dunno what the fuck is going down here. Thought it might be a wicked dream bubble what been all perverted by those space monkeys but not so sure now...

... I see. [He looks down at his own hands, curiously piercing the tip of one finger with his own claw, and sure enough, his blood wells up a deep blue-purple. He licks the blood clean absently, looking back up at Kurloz.] It's not a dream. You're in another reality. Possibly an alternate one, because the body you're in right now belongs to Kurloz Makara as well, but he's a human, from Earth.

[Looks thoroughly disgruntled, looking down at his hands and huffing.]

This ain't right at all. This shitty body's all sorts of fucking WRONG AND WEAK. Can't be doing none of the Merciful Messiah's work like this.

It's also capable of great magic. [flatly, then narrows his eyes] What kind of work are you talking about?

[A manic gleam enters the indigo eyes that seem to flash from pale lavender to almost black indigo and then he straightens, the madness gone and leaving a disgruntled teen behind. He then glances up and down at Rhys.]

[Stares at Rhys a moment longer before curling his lip with annoyed disgust before turning away, jamming his hands into his pockets.]
