WHAT: Canon selves event! A seance gone awry has had its effect on the school, bringing about mental and physical changes to students and staff alike! Full details of the combinations of effects can be found here.
STATUS: Ongoing! Use whichever style you like.

[Spring brings change, but that change isn't always a good thing! Whether your character has changed entirely into their canon self, or only in part, please keep in mind that whatever they know/learn of their original canon during this event will be unable to be clearly recalled - disappearing with their past self - when the event is over. This is to avoid fourth-walling after the conclusion of the event.

Please also keep in mind that some people will not want to fourth-wall during the event! Make sure it's alright with the other player before you decide to do that. Above all, though, have fun!]

[Marshall's pretty quick on the uptake and he's decent at charades so he gets the gist of what Kurloz is trying to tell him.]
Gotcha. So this isn't your home turf either huh?

[Marshall thinks for a few moments before gesturing to himself and then to Kurloz and then pointing down the hall while giving him a questioning "how about it?" kind of look.]

Maybe if we go down this way we can find someone else to ask.

[Kurloz perks and nods, not entirely getting what Marshall's saying but understanding enough that the boy will hover off with him in exploring the castle. Hey, it never hurts to have allies that can get all fluttering and shit.]

[Marshall continues floating down the hallways and looking at all the pictures. He stops when he notices that they're moving. He points to them and gives Kurloz an amused "WTF?" look.]

"Look at this shit. How are they moving?"

[Okay, so the other boy can't understand him but Marshall is now kinda talking more for his own sense of comfort.]

[Grins at the pictures and Marshall's amusement. He steps right up to one of the painting and pokes at the subjects, grinning as they squawk at him and tell him to shoo.]
