WHAT: Canon selves event! A seance gone awry has had its effect on the school, bringing about mental and physical changes to students and staff alike! Full details of the combinations of effects can be found here.
STATUS: Ongoing! Use whichever style you like.

[Spring brings change, but that change isn't always a good thing! Whether your character has changed entirely into their canon self, or only in part, please keep in mind that whatever they know/learn of their original canon during this event will be unable to be clearly recalled - disappearing with their past self - when the event is over. This is to avoid fourth-walling after the conclusion of the event.

Please also keep in mind that some people will not want to fourth-wall during the event! Make sure it's alright with the other player before you decide to do that. Above all, though, have fun!]

[That earns Sun Jin an incredibly surly expression. Thor very much dislikes being so small, particularly when others are bigger than him! Something is afoot here, so he's looking very suspicious as he puffs his chest.]

I am no boy, mortal. I am a man and I am immune to such sorcery. I will not play guest to such trickery, do you not see that there is something terribly wrong?

[papatiger]

[Is he supposed to be impressed? Have his not-impressed face instead.]

Anyone with eyes and ears would know that something terrible is amiss! But such a sour display of temper would get you nowhere. If you claim that you are a man, then you should act the part and deal with this trickery with care and maturity.

[brothor]

[To be fair, Thor really doesn't know how to come across as impressive when he's so tiny. The last time he was this small he was quite capable of flipping tables, he truly isn't himself.]

Do you expect me to stand idly by whilst they concoct more mischief? If anyone is to take issue with my temper, they may present themselves as a challenge or remain silent.

[papatiger]

Very well then.

[Sun Jian crosses his arms and sternly faces Thor down.]

I take issue with your lack of manners. Our hosts may be polite enough to endure your loud railings but I will not let you persists in embarrassing them and yourself. We do not know who is responsible but pointing wild fingers will not get you anywhere.

[brothor]

Is that so?

[Thor is going to stare the other man down....up? Who cares, he's giving him a dirty look.]

A host that takes me without my permission is not a host I have any desire to impress with something so basic as manners. If you challenge my good opinion, I shall have to fight you.

[papatiger]

[Oh, you don't want to give him that dirty look. You don't want to do that Thor. Sun Jian's far from angry, merely surprised and put-off by the teen's rudeness. He takes a step forward, fists clenched and ready for any attack.]

You don't want to do this boy. You're going to get hurt.

[brothor]

I am no boy.

[He puffs himself as much as he can.]

I am Thor. Of Asgard.
[He's going to hold out his arm dramatically and wait for his hammer to return to him. Only it won't. So he'll just be standing there staring expectantly at his hand.]

This...is not a regular occurance.

[papatiger]

[Sun Jian looks at the direction that Thor's hand is facing, awaiting whatever it is that Thor's calling towards him. When a few awkward seconds pass by with no changes, Sun Jian raises an eyebrow.]

Well, Asgard's Thor, I am waiting.

[brothor]

I too am waiting. [He twitches his fingers ever so slightly before dropping his hand with a slight huff.]

They have stolen my hammer from me. We shall have to continue this another time, I am afraid.

[papatiger]

[Ah ha, no. You don't get off challenging Sun Jian without backing up your claims. Even if Thor's a kid by his standards, he needs to be taught a lesson in manners and Sun Jian's going to deliver that.]

You issued a challenge yet now you seek to flee; do you know no honour? You bring shame on your family name!

Now face the Tiger of Jiangdong like a man!

[brothor]

[Okay, well. Thor had been at that delicate point where he admits he's in over his head. The word delicate is used because it honestly only takes one word to have him changing his mind.

He puts on his ugly, ugly war face and straightens up again.]

I shall fight you man to man then. No weapons. [He holds up his fists.] I am more than capable. [Now he's going to launch at Sun Jian.]
