WHAT: Canon selves event! A seance gone awry has had its effect on the school, bringing about mental and physical changes to students and staff alike! Full details of the combinations of effects can be found here.
STATUS: Ongoing! Use whichever style you like.

[Spring brings change, but that change isn't always a good thing! Whether your character has changed entirely into their canon self, or only in part, please keep in mind that whatever they know/learn of their original canon during this event will be unable to be clearly recalled - disappearing with their past self - when the event is over. This is to avoid fourth-walling after the conclusion of the event.

Please also keep in mind that some people will not want to fourth-wall during the event! Make sure it's alright with the other player before you decide to do that. Above all, though, have fun!]

[Rhys has gotten used to this reaction by now, and explains quite calmly (in a rumbling, inhuman voice)] It's Professor Rhydderch, your Head of House. This is merely one of the castle's effects, much as your age is.

[He smiles dryly, though all nuance of the expression is lost with those fangs, and just looks utterly terrifying instead.] I have no intention of attacking or eating you, if you have concerns on that front.

[Tony takes a few more steps then stops.]

Thanks for the introduction there, Prince Adam. But unless we met while I was drunk. And I think even drunk I'd remember that look. Can't say we've met.

[He swallows hard.]

Yeah, wasn't really thinking about you really eating me until now.

Oh, charming. It's changed your mind, as well. Very well, I will give you a brief explanation, which you'll likely not believe, and you can spend the rest of the day verifying.

[The troll sounds impatient, because he's probably going to have to do this several times today.]

You are normally a student here, 14 years old, I believe. I am your Head of House and professor, and I don't normally look like this. This is Hogwarts, a school for wizards and witches, and you're in your 6th year of education here. Occasionally the castle, which is also magical and seems to have a mind of its own, enacts various effects on the inhabitants, changing species, sex, age, and mental status, which seems to be what's happened to you. Any questions? And I will entertain none about illicit or hallucinatory substances you believe I've ingested or simple incoherencies, though that's never been much of a problem for you.

Kind of got all those details before, but never really expected some high gothic carnival troll doll, to show up and be my own personal wiki page on this place.

[He still seems pretty weary, but doesn't seem like he's going to run away or attack him.]

Most of my questions were fielded by a kid called Bruce.

Mr. Stark, you will show some respect to your elders. I am not a doll. [growls in annoyance, then snorts] Ah. Mr. Banner. Please avoid molesting him, if at all possible. I believe your younger self and he are romantically involved.

Yeah, never really been one to respect my elders. And growling beasts don't get that much respect eith- Banner? Uh, my younger self has no idea who that kid is. And he certainly isn't the Banner I do know. Also, I'm in a thriving relationship with someone who not only isn't Banner, but also is a woman.

[Tony gives the Troll a weird look. because even on his kinkiest days he's never dated a guy.]

Oh, yes. Different realities, pardon. I have no idea where we're going to stick all the people turned into adults until they change back. [sighs, rubbing the base of one horn in aggravation]

Ah, well you see. That's something you don't have to 'stick' me anywhere. I just need to get back to Stark Tower. I have things to do, days to save.
