WHAT: Canon selves event! A seance gone awry has had its effect on the school, bringing about mental and physical changes to students and staff alike! Full details of the combinations of effects can be found here.
STATUS: Ongoing! Use whichever style you like.

[Spring brings change, but that change isn't always a good thing! Whether your character has changed entirely into their canon self, or only in part, please keep in mind that whatever they know/learn of their original canon during this event will be unable to be clearly recalled - disappearing with their past self - when the event is over. This is to avoid fourth-walling after the conclusion of the event.

Please also keep in mind that some people will not want to fourth-wall during the event! Make sure it's alright with the other player before you decide to do that. Above all, though, have fun!]

[No jokes. Murdoc is a monster of the same variety and he still can't help reeling away in surprise at the sight of that thing. He can only think of one person it could be, given the massive size of him.

His fins flatten against his face as the huge troll approaches and he scrambles out of his seat to stand up straight, puffing himself up a little.]

Rhydderch..? [He inquires, his fins drooping a little as he calms.]

[The giant troll stoops a little, staring at the other, then recognizes the scars.] Ampora.

[He straightens again, the purple painted bones of his armor rattling. In a non-castle environment, he probably wouldn't even be able to stand, not with his height AND those massive horns.] Do you even recognize what we are? I'm no walking bestiary, but these forms are entirely unfamiliar.

[Murdoc can't help shrinking away ever so slightly as the huge monster of a man stoops toward him. It's hard not to be a little wary, it's not like Rhys is someone he particularly trusts when he isn't huge.

He shakes his head as the question is asked, folding his arms over his chest.]

I've been referred to as a troll at one point, though I'm sure it's an entirely different manner of bein'. [He gives Rhys another once over before making an observation.] You're big.

Troll? [glancing down at one huge hand, then shaking his head] Yes, it must be some different kind than the ones known to us.

[He looks back up again at the comment about his size, and smirks. The expression looks incredibly sinister on that alien face.] What gave it away? I'm not going to try and eat you, you know. You don't smell particularly appealing. [At least not in the edible way.]

Well, they are grey. Though much bigger with less...horns. [He shrugs lightly.] Seems as if a few people have been replaced mentally and not physically. [Such as Bro.]

I never implied you would, you're clearly mentally adept. [He just scowls.] Why does everybody say that? I don't smell a damn thing!

Really? [raises his eyebrows] Hmm, perhaps this body is a different sort of whatever it is we are ... you have facial fins, which I seem to be lacking. Regardless, my sense of smell is considerably more acute now, and your odor is quite distinctive.

Indeed. I can't count the amount of times I've had a sword brandished at me.

[He narrows his eyes.] I suppose so. It seems like we've both got shades of purple in common, at least. [He sniffs. He knows damn well he has a faint fish odor but honestly people are so dramatic about it.] I suppose I should have worn a little more cologne.

I think that would have been an unmitigated disaster [grimacing] Not a good mix. I suppose we should go about trying to restore order, for all the good that'll do.

You'll just have to live with it, then. [He puffs himself up a little, clearly getting defensive.]

I'm sure we'd do more harm than help now. Everyone is absolutely terrified of us.

A little terror can be a healthy thing. Some of the students in the state they're in now need it. [dryly]

That’s a little ominous, wouldn’t you say? The castle already seems well prepared at keeping students on their toes, though I must say bellowing for students to do their homework in a form like this would be entertainin’, to say the very least.

The amount of volume these bodies can produce is impressive, not to mention timbre. [If Rhys's smile was intimidating before, it's positively terrifying now, all enormous teeth and menace.]
