WHAT: Canon selves event! A seance gone awry has had its effect on the school, bringing about mental and physical changes to students and staff alike! Full details of the combinations of effects can be found here.
STATUS: Ongoing! Use whichever style you like.

[Spring brings change, but that change isn't always a good thing! Whether your character has changed entirely into their canon self, or only in part, please keep in mind that whatever they know/learn of their original canon during this event will be unable to be clearly recalled - disappearing with their past self - when the event is over. This is to avoid fourth-walling after the conclusion of the event.

Please also keep in mind that some people will not want to fourth-wall during the event! Make sure it's alright with the other player before you decide to do that. Above all, though, have fun!]

[Murdoc is hoping that pause is one of realisation and that he will put the net down and cease the assualt.

Nope.

He can't dodge the net in time, so it manages to drape over him dramatically. He struggles, but the damn thing is caught in his horns. As cool as they look, they're terribly impractical.

In desperation, he's going to scream up at Wesley in his loudest voice.]

YOU'RE MAKING A HUGE MISTAKE, SIR. I'M A PROFESSOR TOO, I WORK HERE. [A pause.] I HAVE SONS? [And if that doesn't work he supposes he could say he's a magical fish who grants wishes.]

Yeah! Let's get our peepers working! [happily, leaning in to kiss Tavros again while squeezing on his horns, before pulling back and grabbing the smaller troll's hand to tug him along and start flinging doors open]

-=tavros follows behind, but soon enough he's darting past and pulling gamzee along, taking a turn down a seemingly empty hallway. his legs work and he just cant help himself.

he's grinning like a fool by the time they find an empty room. hell he has no idea what this room even is for, he's never been in here. the fact that they're gray, be-fanged and sporting massive horns doesn't seem to be bothering him much at all. his legs are back, he has gamzee with him, things are awesome right now=-

Wow, to annoy me? Really, I guess I should feel special that a guy who should be, you know, in an alien lock box in Asgard feels the need to try and annoy me. And if this is him trying to annoy me, well I don't see Justin Hammer around, so I can work with this.

[He shrugs and keeps on eating. Pie is pie and he's never going to turn away decently cooked food.]

Yeah, I've done the whole dorm thing, can't really say much smells worse than that.

[Tony looks in the direction Arthur suggests, then nods. Because hey, he hadn't looked over there yet.]

Well, thanks for the tip off, Notting Hill.

[He gives him a wave before heading off in that direction.]

[Tony raises his eyebrow at the tight grip but otherwise says nothing about it.]

He showed up when I was stumbling about trying to fix the reactor. Apparently nothing electronic works here.

[He shrugs]

He managed to get around that for me.

[Sun Jian looks at the direction that Thor's hand is facing, awaiting whatever it is that Thor's calling towards him. When a few awkward seconds pass by with no changes, Sun Jian raises an eyebrow.]

Well, Asgard's Thor, I am waiting.

[papatiger]

It would stand to reason that a school built for the sole purpose of spreading sorcery would have a demon as it's teacher.

[But Murdoc played the right move: the son card always gets to Sun Jian. He still regards him with a wary eye, but he pulls out a knife and aims it at the captured troll.]

Why are you in the water? Do you seek more human prey to feed your spawn?

[Gamzee honks laughter as he's tugged behind an excited Tavros. He has no idea what's going on - maybe he's a asleep on his horn pile, and this is just a miracle of an amazing dream? - but he knows he's happier than he's felt in a long time, especially since those two voices have been getting louder and louder in his head.

Whatever this room is, it's dark, and a little dusty, and there are pieces of furniture covered in tarp or cloth. The indigoblood doesn't care in the slightest, though, as he slams the door behind them, then catches his friend up in his arms to start kissing him again, greedily, hands sliding over the smaller troll's waist and hips.]

[still chuckling, Gamzee scrubs his palm and claws through the human's hair] Well, ain't being your fault, bro. Maybe we can find someone what can be making with the miracles, and put you back where you belong!

[mo_cara]

'Cause they ain't allowed. [considers then smiles lazily] Yeah, I guess you have got the righting of it. So what you doing here, then, old motherfucker?

[mo_cara]

The monster what takes care of the little wigglers. Or is supposed to, anyway. You're stronger than your kid, though, I seen it.

[mo_cara]

Karkat says we made 'em. So what are you all up and being then, bro? Like, half a troll, half a flapbeast?

[mo_cara]

[shakes his head] I only seen pictures.

[looking down at his claws] I have the suspicion that inferi are nowhere near so dangerous.

[looks back up again] Please refrain from attacking anyone else in the castle. There are no 'zombies' here, only children and some non-humans.

I think that would have been an unmitigated disaster [grimacing] Not a good mix. I suppose we should go about trying to restore order, for all the good that'll do.

Oh, yes. Different realities, pardon. I have no idea where we're going to stick all the people turned into adults until they change back. [sighs, rubbing the base of one horn in aggravation]

I'm not tired, and there are children running around as adults willing to attack things. [snorting a huff, then shaking his head] But I no longer seem to be the best shake for calming anyone.

Then continue to do what you've been doing, and speak to either Miss Maryam or Miss Gkika. They may have tasks for you that could be helpful. And twenty points to Hufflepuff.

[Unfortunately, the nurse has got her hands full, so there's a bit of a wait, but eventually they can get a spell cast that will allow Kurloz to hear and understand English as Beforian, and for Rhys to do the same in the other direction.]

-=tavros laughs as hes pulled up into another kiss. he doesn't know what it is, but he feels more excited than usual. more wild maybe. more something. he's only barely concerned that someone could wander in on them.

everything felt different, even the budding arousal starting to spike up now that they are alone and gamzees hands are on him, and he can feel then when they wander past his normal barrier of sensation. it makes him groan into gamzee's mouth, quickly becoming greedy for more of it=-
