WHAT: Canon selves event! A seance gone awry has had its effect on the school, bringing about mental and physical changes to students and staff alike! Full details of the combinations of effects can be found here.

[Spring brings change, but that change isn't always a good thing! Whether your character has changed entirely into their canon self, or only in part, please keep in mind that whatever they know/learn of their original canon during this event will be unable to be clearly recalled - disappearing with their past self - when the event is over. This is to avoid fourth-walling after the conclusion of the event.

Please also keep in mind that some people will not want to fourth-wall during the event! Make sure it's alright with the other player before you decide to do that. Above all, though, have fun!]

[Meulin seems to perk up at the compliment, and she smiles but retains her composure.]

Briefly, but she had her hands full and I didn't want to distract her.

[It's a little odd. The more she looks, the more Rhys seems to resemble that picture 'Kurloz' had drawn in her notebook. Likely just coincidence, but a strange one indeed.]

Perhaps you should come and rest a moment, instead of walking the halls commenting on the palatability of fellow staff.

[He makes a small sign to signal 'ok' and gestures for Kurloz to follow him.

No doubt he'll quickly change his tune when he realises what they're wanted for.]

[Jane hovers in front of the can, making sucking noises at the opening but kind of failing to get anything out.]

I know because I've seen Bruce. And he's not our Bruce, he's a student and this is the boarding school that he attends.

I've never needed a reason to charm anyone. Also, why change everyone else and leave me like this? Even without tech I can still make his life difficult even with my 'advanced years'

[Even though he knows all this is common knowledge, he can't help being suspicious about this Bruce knowing all this.]

Yeah, never really been one to respect my elders. And growling beasts don't get that much respect eith- Banner? Uh, my younger self has no idea who that kid is. And he certainly isn't the Banner I do know. Also, I'm in a thriving relationship with someone who not only isn't Banner, but also is a woman.

[Tony gives the Troll a weird look. because even on his kinkiest days he's never dated a guy.]

[As soon as he hears the ripping he turns his attention back on Meulin, eyes narrowing dangerously when he sees the torn sheet. Suddenly the birds don't matter and if she doesn't do something quick, Kurloz might just attack Meulin.]

[Fiddles with sleeve of robes.]

Aren't you going to eat your breakfast?

[She'd only been halfway through tearing the second strip when she sees that Kurloz is no longer concerned about the birds. They flutter about him, still trying to edge him away but she can see it's not going to work.

She's getting clumsier with her motions, having trouble thinking under such pressure. It was always so easy in class, because a part of her knew that no matter what the teacher was right there to intervene if needed. Here if she failed, both she and Kurloz would end up getting hurt. Meulin tries to back away, pulling the sheet along with her. Her original plan wasn't going to work which meant really, the sheet was useless. She didn't know why she was pulling it along. She dropped it and raised her wand. She didn't have a choice. She had to knock him out. If she didn't, not only would he possibly hurt both of them, but when he came to he'd never stop beating himself up over it. That was that thought that finally made her steel herself.]

Kurloz. Stop it. I'm trying to help you and if you try anything I'll have to take drastic measure. [She knew he couldn't understand her, but hopefully he could read the warning in her tone. She hated to have to do it but if he attacked, she'd finally have to fall back on stupefy.]

Indeed. I can't count the amount of times I've had a sword brandished at me.

[He narrows his eyes.] I suppose so. It seems like we've both got shades of purple in common, at least. [He sniffs. He knows damn well he has a faint fish odor but honestly people are so dramatic about it.] I suppose I should have worn a little more cologne.

[Murdoc has his chest puffed and his back straight, his expression is just daring anyone to point, stare or, god forbid, laugh. He looks like he knows what he's doing, so clearly nobody will stop him when he leads him to the teacher's table and offers him a seat there.

There's no way in hell he's sitting with the students now.]

Eat whatever you want, I doubt many of us will be showin' up for breakfast today. [He's going to start making himself a coffee so he can just breathe in the smell.]

[Nick barely has time to react to that, christ. There is something majorly off about this chick but it's kinda hard to say no to a smooch.

He barely gets a chance to smooch back before he's starting to feel all kinds of weird. Is he changing colour? I think he just might be.]

Gamzee freezes, his arms tightening around the smaller troll ... and then suddenly he's kissing back with unbridled enthusiasm, even more sloppily than usual, considering the kinds of fangs involved here. The indigoblood stumbles back into a wall, then turns so that he's pressing Tavros into it, making rumbling noises deep in his chest.]
