WHAT: Canon selves event! A seance gone awry has had its effect on the school, bringing about mental and physical changes to students and staff alike! Full details of the combinations of effects can be found here.
STATUS: Ongoing! Use whichever style you like.

[Spring brings change, but that change isn't always a good thing! Whether your character has changed entirely into their canon self, or only in part, please keep in mind that whatever they know/learn of their original canon during this event will be unable to be clearly recalled - disappearing with their past self - when the event is over. This is to avoid fourth-walling after the conclusion of the event.

Please also keep in mind that some people will not want to fourth-wall during the event! Make sure it's alright with the other player before you decide to do that. Above all, though, have fun!]

[Gamzee honks joyous laughter, pleased for his friend, and spins him around and around, long arms looped round the smaller troll.] Damn, you can do more than walk, can't you? You can motherfuckin' dance!

Some big motherfuckin' stone hive, I guess. I thought it were on the meteor, but maybe it's in one of the human's lands. [shrugs]

[The big troll's reaction is instinctual - no small, soft creature like this is going to try and threaten him, even if it's in a language he doesn't comprehend. He has enough self control not to just swipe his claws across the boy's throat - it's his son! - but one huge hand shoots out and pins Kurloz to the wall with casual, brutal strength, holding him in place.]

STAND DOWN, YOU WILL NOT THREATEN ME, CHILD. [His voice is thunder, the kind of voice a real troll would use to show dominance over a weaker one.] DO YOU UNDERSTAND?

[ROLLS EYES and points forcefully at Gamzee then at himself, tracing the Capricorn sign on his plain pajama tee.]

Not really. I seem to be dealing with a set of alien instincts which comes with this body, it's rather disconcerting. I told Ampora earlier that he did not smell edible. [sighs]

Really? [raises his eyebrows] Hmm, perhaps this body is a different sort of whatever it is we are ... you have facial fins, which I seem to be lacking. Regardless, my sense of smell is considerably more acute now, and your odor is quite distinctive.

[Not one of the teachers ... this must be one of the students. He doesn't quite recognize him, however.]

Something akin to a troll, I believe. Do you intend to continue trying to bludgeon me? Because I really don't have time for this.

Well done, child. [sighs, rubbing his claws through his mass of hair] Hm, something similar to this happened before, but with ages. I'll have to speak with more students before we can truly determine what's happening, though. Have you spoke with Miss Maryam?

Mr. Stark, you will show some respect to your elders. I am not a doll. [growls in annoyance, then snorts] Ah. Mr. Banner. Please avoid molesting him, if at all possible. I believe your younger self and he are romantically involved.

[His bloodpusher hammers in his chest as he's pinned back, and his skin pales instantly. His threatening facial expression slackens with surprise and he stares at the adult troll with confusion. THIS troll looked like he was from the same universe as the one troll he submits to... but then why wasn't he watching his internal organs get pulled out by those massive claws for his insubordination?

His mental voice is calmer this time as he asks in Beforian:]

... Who the fuck are you?

[The birds darted about his hands, most of them managing to dodge him. One let out a small squeak when a hand came in contact with it and evaporated.

Okay. This was surprisingly working, for the most part, which meant she just needed to keep her calm. He was close to the bed now which meant she just needed to find something to restrain him.

Her eyes darted around the room, but nothing seemed to pop out at her. She didn't exactly have the luxury of taking her time and slowly looking. Her eyes landed on the bed closest to her and she grabbed at the sheet, hurridly using her wand and the severing charm to rip two thick, long strips.]

[The sword's not going away, but at least he's not attacking. He doesn't trust those upraised hands, though. Condesce doesn't even need a weapon, at this point, why would this troll, either.]

Because you are one. Or did it somehow escape you're notice that you're fucking gray, and have horns?

That doesn't count and also won't fit on anyone's finger. And don't you fucking dare try.

[Nope, moving back now. No rings here.]

[He even gives a very wide, very fake, smile to prove it.]

Amazingly, candy kingdom only describes how I look. This is temporary. A sugar high, or some shit like that. Everything else is full of dead things.

[He loosens his grip, allowing the boy free - he's not real threat, after all.] Come. We are going to find Dolores, and she will at least allow me to communicate with you.

[He jerks his shaggy head, to indicate the boy should follow him.]

[blinks ... stares, head cocked to one side ... blinks some more .... then bursts out into honking laughter] Nah ... seriously? Well, how the motherfuck did you get all squeezed down into that squishy body?

[Kurloz rubs the spot Rhys' claws had been pinning him by and regards the troll suspiciously before slowly following. The lumbering giant seemed to have a better idea of what was going on than he did, after all.]

[Looks mildly miffed by the laughter and just shrugs glumly, annoyed at is predicament.]
