WHAT: Canon selves event! A seance gone awry has had its effect on the school, bringing about mental and physical changes to students and staff alike! Full details of the combinations of effects can be found here.
STATUS: Ongoing! Use whichever style you like.

[Spring brings change, but that change isn't always a good thing! Whether your character has changed entirely into their canon self, or only in part, please keep in mind that whatever they know/learn of their original canon during this event will be unable to be clearly recalled - disappearing with their past self - when the event is over. This is to avoid fourth-walling after the conclusion of the event.

Please also keep in mind that some people will not want to fourth-wall during the event! Make sure it's alright with the other player before you decide to do that. Above all, though, have fun!]

This is Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, and I believe that I may have an idea of how you arrived here.

[He listens intently and his eyebrows go up a little more as she goes on.]

A school? For witches and wizards? Yeah, they definitely don't have those where I come from. There are witches and wizards but they don't go to school for it. [He looks sad for a moment.] Some people get their powers from ancient artifacts and some are born with them.
[He sighs a tired sounding sigh and sits down in mid-air.]
Visiting other realms isn't new to me but there's something about this one that just makes me feel off. If you can tell me how I got here that would be great. Then maybe we can find a way to send me home.
[He looks a little sheepish.]
I can't pay you or anything for your help but I promise that I'll owe you a favor sometime in the future and I'm always good for my word.

They seem harmless for the moment, but if there are good wizards in the world then I have not been so fortunate to meet them just yet.

Perhaps we can search together then. It wouldn't be good for a young girl like yourself to be wondering around on her own. Allow me to accompany you.

[He sneers at the hand, glaring at Meulin. She's not his Meulin at all, his Meulin would never dare try to stop him, try to go against him, and even if she did he could just use his chucklevoodoos on her to make her fucking OBEY-

But no. He doesn't have his chucklevoodoos and this isn't Meulin.

The glare fades again and he turns away from her, hands in his pockets and glancing around the infirmary in search of other bladed objects he might be able to make use of.]

[Kurloz perks and nods, not entirely getting what Marshall's saying but understanding enough that the boy will hover off with him in exploring the castle. Hey, it never hurts to have allies that can get all fluttering and shit.]

[Most people hadn't expected it, and it's bothersome to deal with, but he's glad she isn't brandishing a sword like many others.]

I'm already an animagus and my form is absolutely nothin' like this, I'll have you know. [He sighs tiredly, his fins dropping as he does.] I suspect it may be one of those inexplicable situations the castle is so fond of putting us through.

[Gamzee is immediately familiar to Murdoc...And apparently Murdoc is familiar to him!!! ...In the wrong way... He droops a little at the comment, giving him a tired look.]

I'm not Eridan. He's my son. I take it you've no idea who I am, do you?

[The boat speeding toward Murdoc isn't hard to miss, nor is that net in Wesley's arms, for that matter. He widens his eyes, sputtering at a loss for words and waving his arms in a 'please don't catch me, I'm not a fish' manner.

...Which is difficult to convey. So he'll call out.]

If you put me in a net the next year will be very awkward, professor!

Well, they are grey. Though much bigger with less...horns. [He shrugs lightly.] Seems as if a few people have been replaced mentally and not physically. [Such as Bro.]

I never implied you would, you're clearly mentally adept. [He just scowls.] Why does everybody say that? I don't smell a damn thing!

[Luckily, Murdoc isn't interested in a friendly massage. Once he's certain Mituna is perfectly calm, he'll move his hand away.

He moves to stand up again, glancing around before looking back at Mituna.]

You wandered off? [He asks with a raised eyebrow.] I'm sure the nurses have enough to deal with. Would you like to go find breakfast?

[As far as Murdoc knows, Bro and Dirk had no reason to react aggressively. Yet, the swords had come out very quickly! Ah, if only that was a euphemism.]

I meant I'm not a troll and I take offense to being referred to as one. I'm a wizard, a well respected one at that. Not some monsterously huge beast with no brains, thank you very much.

[SIGH.] As far as I'm aware, you're my student.

[He shrugs, crinkling his nose as Bro spits on the ground. He cups his mouth and breathes into it, sniffing curiously as if trying to figure out whether Bro is being stupid.]

[Arthur bounces back, far more quickly than he would ever have managed in his adult state, and smirks.]

[He stares a little more, then rubs his hand against the back of his head.]

[His stomach interrupts him with a pointed growl, and he glances away.]

[He ducks his head for that ruffle and squints one eye shut slightly. Kurloz is really the only person these days who can get away with unannounced body contact.

Since talking seems to bother him, he keeps quiet, but hums in soft approval.]

Yeah, I've been hearing that. But it really doesn't have anything to do with Reindeer Games.

Seems to be a castle wide thing.

[Tony looks at him, then realises what he's saying.]

Puppetmaster? Well I've heard worse names, really. Asking? That would be Tony Stark.

[After a moment he holds out his hand to shake.]

Not helpful. Apparently, this Bruce. Actually boards here. He's not our gentle green giant.

And there seems to be some kind of EM field getting in the way of everything. They're calling it magic, I'm not convinced.

[Katniss folds her arms and starts to think about the rest of the strange things that have been happening all day and what he's saying could make sense.]

That makes sense, but I keep wanting to hide from other kids. Especially any that have something that can be used as a weapon in their hands.

What is he? He's just a kid with the same name, same kind of curly hair, with anxious sarcasm. That's it. He's barely old enough to even think of Culver University as a place to study.

It's not magic. And come on, the guy is dramatic, what's doing weird things to ours and other peoples ages in a Scottish castle going to prove?
