WHAT: Keith's family is away, so of course he's throwing a crazy party. Everyone is invited. If you don't know him, no problem! If you don't like him.. there's free food, booze and a good time, come anyway! Chances are you won't even see him. Maybe.

[Of course the first thing he's going to do upon finding out his parents are going away for a few days at the end of the holidays is organise a house party. In one of the rare occurrences when what he plans is actually what happens, he even has food and drink and some awesome music, and has already plied the neighbours with a bottle of wine so they'll not call the police when things inevitably get too loud.

Always thinking.

He'd made sure everyone knew what he was doing, do you really want to miss this? Do you want to deal with his face after the holidays if you don't show up..?]

[Nick has absolutely no idea why he agreed to this. He declined the first few invitations, but his desire to leave the house grew too strong. Really, for all that he puffs himself up, he doesn't have all that many friends back home..

And what kind of moron turns down the chance to drink and mingle with ladies for the night? Not this guy. He can deal with the combined annoyance of Ellis and Keith for the sake of that.

For now, Nick is chilling on the porch, slumped in a chair with a drink so he can booze up and get a break from the sausage fest.]

[Jane hadn't necessarily intended to grab a glass of something alcoholic. But once she noticed the strong taste and how it warmed her tummy, well, she figured she might as well give it a try. It feels nice. And she hasn't felt totally nice in a while.

And there's the fact that Dirk's at the party.

And she still hasn't come clean or gotten over her issues or just ignored them and.

The more she drinks the more it seems like a good idea.

So eventually she goes stumbling through the party, looking for Dirk in the crowd. If she spills her drink on you, she'll be quick to apologize.]

[How awkward would it be, if she spilled her drink on the very person she came to talk to?

Well, she's going to have to find out, since that's what just happened. He doesn't look mad about it, just surprised, and he reaches out to steady her with a hand on the arm that isn't holding a drink.]

Jesus. Jane, you okay?

[Oh nooooo her drink is all over his nice shiiiiirt.

She pats at it vaguely before looking up and realizing who it is. And then she just sort of leaves her hand on his chest and blinks owlishly at him.]

Dirkitschoo! I need t'talk t'you!

[Dirk is spending a lot of his time outside of the house. The party atmosphere's a bit much for him, and one of the benefits of growing up with Bro is knowing a lot about alcohol, and knowing that there's nothing all that special about it.

Besides, he's got to get back home, and doing so drunk off his ass doesn't sound particularly fun.]

[It would be time to try and head to the kitchen for paper towels, but Jane is not being helpful in this process, so he's just. Stuck here with her hand on his chest.]

Thought you were avoiding me again. What do you need to talk about?

Ohhhh, I wasss. 'cause it wasn't getting better sssso I thought I'd talktyou now because if itsnot better then we haff to talk or else y'll juss hate me and that'd be bad.

[Smile.]

[Why the hell is she smiling as she says that. Drunk Jane is awful. He never wants to meet her again.]

I wouldn't hate you. You're dodging the issue. What did you want to talk about?

I wanned a talk about um. Y'know the eggs? 'n' the potion? Remem. Remember?

[Nick, of course, is not going to be left alone for long. Soon enough Keith tracks him down and leans intrusively over his shoulder, grinning in that dorky kind of way that only people like he and Ellis can pull off with any kind of grace.]

What's up, buddy? [Yes, he knows Nick isn't his friend. It's not going to keep him from trying.]

Dirk?

[Oh, god, let him get out for a few minutes, just for a breather. Parties aren't really Arthur's kind of thing either, but Alfred wanted to come and he could be very ~~persistent~~ persuasive when he really wanted something to happen.

Sometimes letting him get his way was easier than continuing to argue and besides, Portsmouth was a nice enough place.]

Oh, thank bloody heavens, someone I can count on not to be sauced out of their mind. [A pause.] You are sober, aren't you?

[Well, Marshall doesn't drink but he'll happily pretend to drink a beer while he noses around Keith's music and video game collections.]

...there's some good stuff here.

[Grace? Unlikely. You know who has grace? Nick. Watch in awe as he weaves away from Keith.]

Not a lot. [Somehow, 'buddy' slips past his radar. Clearly he's known Ellis too long.]

They sure are. [That's why he's here.]

Good is a matter of opinion.

[Nick is going to swig his beer and judge Marshall for having fun.]

[Well, if this is where the food is at, that's where Thor is. However, his true calling is also here. The music he loves so much is playing, that damn addictive pop music is pumping and he feels very much inclined to dance.

AND HE'S GREAT.

Thor will be looking for dance partners- ladies or gents he is up for a dance no matter who you are. If you're nearby, he's probably going to ask.]

[Ask? More like SUDDENLY DANCE PARTNER! Alfred's the ultimate extrovert at parties, and after giving Thor a friendly shoulder bump, he's all about dat dancing! Like a derpy teenager trying to show off his swag, of course~]

Hey, bro! Enjoyin' the music~?

[Sometime later in the night, Alfred's chilling outside, leaning against a wall with a glass of something obviously alcoholic. He's tried not to overdo it, okay??

...At least he's not stumbling-over-himself drunk. Just...gonna-stay-still-for-a-bit tipsy. He's not going to let his boyfriend be right about him being an irresponsible idiot. Not this time. >:c He's still up for chatting though! Social butterfly right here, yo!]

[Tony comes in, as he tends to, fashionably late to the party. (And to add to the hype he came in the rolls.) He's just in a t-shirt and jeans with a jacket over it because he's like that. Grinning as he comes in and heads over to the drinks to see what's there.]

[Coming out with a drink of his own. Tony spies Alfred and gives him a nod, and while he doesn't exactly come over to talk to him he obviously has no problem talking to him from the few feet away he is.]

Looks like you've been having some fun, there.

[Feeling the drink spill on him he turns and raises an eyebrow at her.]

Woah, hey. Don't worry about it, you sure you should be...

[He looks her up and down for a second]

...Upright?

[Tony, being the techno-lover that he is wasted no time pulling out his phone and starts to record Thor's grooving. He looks thoroughly amused by it.]

Come on Thunder falls, work it for the camera!

[He drinks after giving a bit of a laugh.]
