[Of course the first thing he's going to do upon finding out his parents are going away for a few days at the end of the holidays is organise a house party. In one of the rare occurrences when what he plans is actually what happens, he even has food and drink and some awesome music, and has already plied the neighbours with a bottle of wine so they'll not call the police when things inevitably get too loud.

Sounds like you have a good thing going for you. I'm a musician..we usually only see crowded venues, drunks and groupies. [He pauses for a moment.]
