So tonight we gonna party like it's 1999
WHO: Hogwarts student body!
TONE: Partaaaay
RATING: Who knows where this might go, let's say NC-17 to be safe
WHEN: April 10th
WHERE: Keith's place in Portsmouth
WHAT: Keith's family is away, so of course he's throwing a crazy party. Everyone is invited. If you don't know him, no problem! If you don't like him.. there's free food, booze and a good time, come anyway! Chances are you won't even see him. Maybe.
STATUS: Ongoing!
---
[Of course the first thing he's going to do upon finding out his parents are going away for a few days at the end of the holidays is organise a house party. In one of the rare occurrences when what he plans is actually what happens, he even has food and drink and some awesome music, and has already plied the neighbours with a bottle of wine so they'll not call the police when things inevitably get too loud.
Always thinking.
He'd made sure everyone knew what he was doing, do you really want to miss this? Do you want to deal with his face after the holidays if you don't show up..?]

...there's some good stuff here.

[Nick is going to swig his beer and judge Marshall for having fun.]

[He holds up a copy of a zombie shooter game.]
You play?
no subject
[He narrows his eyes at it before shrugging and padding over.] Guess I could spare the time for it. I've gotta warn you, though. I'm pretty goddamn good.
no subject
[Marshall smiles.] I'm not so bad at it either. I have a lot of down time when I'm at home. I usually play by myself though. I don't like hearing twelve year olds making lame "yo mamma" comments.

You ready for this?
no subject
For sure. This will be awesome.
no subject
[He starts fiddling with the console whilst Marshall is searching, setting most of the other stuff up and sitting back again.]
You game much?
no subject
Yep. I usually am out late at night playing music and stuff so I have a lot of down time before I have to head out. It's a good time waster. I read a lot too though.
How about you? Do you play a lot solo or do you go online and do multiplayer stuff?

[Keith's peering over Marshall's shoulder with a bottle of beer in his hand and a cheerful smile on his face. This is great.]
Some of it's my brother's stuff, but the games are all mine. [He pauses, then perks up.] Can you play? I got the second CoD Black Ops.
no subject
[Marshall nods. If there's one thing he has a lot of its time and he's wasted many an hour on video games.]
Yeah! I play a lot when I'm home. I like that one and Halo. Fighters are good too.
no subject
[He grins.]
That's cool. Most wizards don't know what an Xbox is if you drop one on them.
no subject
[Marshall nods.]
Too bad. I like video games. They're a great way to zone out for a while.
no subject
[Keith is one of those perpetually cheerful people, where you always wonder how they're managing to stay so chipper all the time.]
Hey, maybe I can borrow some shit from you?
no subject
[Totally okay with Marshall. He's usually an upbeat guy himself despite his unlife.]
Sure! I can zip up some mp3 files and send you music over the summer if you want. Game wise I can just send stuff to you.

[+10 cool points for you Marshall.]
no subject
[Tech savvy vampires ftw.]

[Hey, Marshall! Dirk's just going to start poking through it right next to you.]
Some of this isn't even ironically bad.
no subject
[Marshall doesn't mind. He's not exactly shy.]
Ha! Bad irony is my favorite kind. I love it when people are so unashamed at loving something so awful.

no subject
Too true.
[He holds up an album from a well known but awful 80's hair band.]
Like this for example? I'm gonna hope someone left this here by mistake.
no subject
I'll just agree for my peace of mind.
no subject
Gotta hand it to them when it comes to crazy guitar riffs though.
no subject
[After flipping idly through the music for a little longer, Dirk switches his attention to the video games.]
no subject
[Marshall looks as Dirk flips through them.]
What kind of games do you like?
