Bella Nitram really was the best ma, and Tavros was a mama's boy if there ever was one. She'd expected that her boy would end up with Gamzee long before he did, even teased him about it, so it wasn't much of a surprise when he'd finally gotten up the curage to actually owl her about it. She'd understood why he'd been scared to, but she wished he hadn't felt that way. She'd love her baby no matter what.

And she'd baby his first love too. Gamzee was certainly an odd boy and honestly, she barely understood half of what came out his mouth at any given time, but he was good hearted as far as she could tell so he was welcome anytime. Tavros had told her all about what he knew of Gamzee's home life, so she felt obligated in her own way to make him feel cared for.

Easter was a smaller affair than Christmas, at least in terms of people, but there was still a lot of good food and as a surprise she'd made each boy a basket of Easter candy and toys like small children would get, just for fun. Gamzee's even had a little clown top in it while Tavros got a Peter Pan.

It took Tavros a while to stop blushing every time his ma winked at him whenever she caught the two boys being close or adorable, and he couldn't help but feel a bit thankful whenever she gave them time alone. He loved his ma like no one else, but they'd never really gotten the chance to actually be alone with Gamzee at all. Not since they'd been officially an item anyway. It made him nervous and excited and he didn't actually know what to do with himself.

It'd been a very long time since he was actually this happy.
