Herbert went still, though not because he fully understood what was going on - it was mainly because he was suprised to see that behind all that make-up, Kurloz was actually really, really good looking. It wasn't something he'd ever considered about the other boy, and it startled him now (and made him just a little bit jealous).
As Kurloz raised his hands, Herbert began, "What are you- ?" but cut himself off, because it was perfectly obvious what the younger boy was doing, just not why.
"I don't see how this is going to fix anything," he said instead, but his voice was quiet, and a little lost. He didn't know - it wasn't like the Slytherin was some boy who really cared deeply about him or wanted him. This was probably a pity snog, and that felt a little pathetic and sad.
