Suppose you're right. It's not like snakes need milk or anything like that. Very self-reliant animals, snakes.

[He adjusts his position as well. When Sherlock's warm hand lands on his thigh, he feels hyper-aware of it, as if all his other senses are dimmed in comparison.]

[He raises his hand to Sherlock's neck and slowly moves it until it comes to rest at the back, where the nape of the neck meets with Sherlock's curly hairline. He twists a finger into that hair and tilts his head up as he gently pulls Sherlock down. It's a move his former girlfriends have liked, but now it's got the added bonus of equalizing their heights a bit. Such are the perils of kissing someone significantly taller than you.
