Alfred might as well have been speaking another language for all Arthur understood of the explanation. More fool him for expecting something simple. Muggle technology would probably never really make sense to him, but at least he was marginally interested in it rather than dismissing it as useless like so many purebloods did.

At least the cat was something familiar. Arthur smiled and crouched to pet the creature, ruffling two fingers against the fur on top of his head before stroking right down to his tail and tugging it gently. "Hello there, Tony," he cooed, before looking up. "He acts like you've been gone for days."
