It hadn't been very hard to convince his da to let him go to Tavros's for Christmas. The man never seemed to know what to do with Gamzee when he was there, anyway, and they opened presents on Christmas Eve. He did insist the boy be there for Christmas morning mass, but after that, he was free to go.

So after a ride from his da, a floo trip, and then a taxi, he arrived at the farm Tavros lived on with his mum, bearing presents, a rucksack, and an enormous grin, excited to see his friend. He'd stuck a reindeer antler headband on through his mess of curly black hair, and the little bells on it jingled as he jogged up to the house to knock on the door.

The area is a wide open space with the small ranch nestled not too far from an expanse of forest. The snowfall has left everything white and glistening, the house is decorated with evergreen and earthy decorations, even the stables are festive with large wreathes on the doors. The place felt old but loved and well lived in, even before entering the house.

Tavros answers the door, eyes widening but not as brightly as his smile. "Gamzee! Hey! Come... come on inside!" He steps aside, purposely moving more stiffly than he really needs to for benefit of the muggle family in the house. Christmas was always one of his most favorite holidays, but this year was already the best.
