WHO: Tony, and YOU
TONE: Confused and adventuours

WHEN: December 1st through 3rd
WHERE: Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry
WHAT: Tony's woken up 5 years old, in a place he's never been before.
NOTE: Tony is going to be all over the place, so let me know where you've come across him.

Waking up. Tony finds himself in bed with somebody else. Sitting up Tony looks around the room then he stares at the older boy for a second before patting his face.

"Hey? Hey?"

What he doesn't know, is that the boy he's patting is Bruce.

After a while he finds himself away from Bruce and is exploring Hogwarts, looking to see what kind of place this is and what he can get up to.

"Fine, some adult figure, paid or otherwise, calls you in. What if I don't want to go in yet?"

Tony rocks back and forth on his feet.

"Then I'm leaving you here to die." Sherlock put his hands in his pockets and started off towards the inside.

"Die? I'm not trapped here, I'm not going to die. It's not even cold enough for that."

He watches Sherlock start to leave, and immediately doesn't like it.

"Lets go find the kitchens. I'm hungry, and if you think it's so cold then it'll be warm there."

Sherlock considers that and nods. "Alright. Where do you think they keep the kitchens?"

"Well, it's a castle. So it's probably in a basement, near a big hall for feasts. I know there's a big hall, I walk passed it earlier. But I don't know if it's the big hall. We can find out though."

He was of course, basing all this on the few movies that he's seen and one documentary. None the less he starts heading in the same direction as Sherlock, to head out of the snow and towards the great hall.

Sherlock is rather glad he doesn't have to go this alone. He's still not sure what's going on, after all.

It's not really like Tony has any real idea of what's going on.

But he keeps walking down the halls, shivering a little now that the cold is starting to seep into him, but he soon finds the hall.

"Ah ha! See, I told you it was here. Now... To find the kitchen..."

He taps his chin thoughtfully but has no clue.

Sherlock stands still for a minute then takes Tony's hand in his and tugs him to follow.

"Kitchens have fires. Fires make soot. The cracks and grouting in the stones in this direction have soot stains. Kitchens are this way."

Tony's head snapped towards his hand when Sherlock takes it. But doesn't pull away, just lets himself be tugged along without any fuss. He does raise an eyebrow at the other boy however.

"Wait, really? You pay too much attention to things."

"You pay too little attention."

Sherlock gets them to the kitchens, looking around the corner to see what's inside.

"Hey! I knew the hall would be connected to the kitchen somehow. That's more than normal kids."

Tony had no trepidation and just walks on into the kitchen without needing to be sneaky. And stares at the house elves busying themselves within.

"Hey look. House elves."

He looks back at Sherlock.

"I don't have these."

Sherlock shrugs. "We have several."

Since it doesn't seem anyone minds them being there, Sherlock comes out of hiding and walks over to Tony.

Tony pokes one as it walks past who squeaks at the fact a five year old just poked her, then she excused herself and went about her tasks.

"We have human staff. Dad prefers them. He gets them from here too. They all talk like you."

He starts nosing around for food, after finding an apple he stands near one of the ovens.

Sherlock watches him, learning him.

"You like your staff."

He tilts his head at them, as he continues to chew on the apple.

"They wouldn't be doing their job right if I didn't. Why?"

Sherlock shrugged. “Just an observation.” He knelt down, hands to the fire. “You act like you’re used to attention. Or at least getting it. You’re surrounded by people who care about you. I think maybe that’s why.”

Tony swallows his bit of apple and shrugs.

"I'm surrounded by servants all day. My family is famous in America, so I'm in the paper because dad or mom are. I think Jarvis is the only one who cares."

"Ah. That attention." He smiles still. He's getting better at these things.

After finishing the apple, Tony tosses the core into the fire.

"What do you mean that attention?"

"The kind that makes you feel like no one can see you even though everyone can."

"What are you talking about? I know everyone can see me. I'm hard to miss."

Sherlock shrugs. It's not really worth it to explain what he means.

Stares at him expectantly. Silently demanding the explanation.

Sherlock looks up at him and shrugs.

"You can be seen as something that takes up space. As a happy kid. As a son. But maybe not as Tony so much."

Tony just stares at him, blinking a little. The look on his face showing that not only is Sherlock right, but he doesn't like that he's figured it out. But after the moment the expression goes more like it was.

"Everybody see's me as Tony. So there."

Yeah, he's five, don't expect too much deep thought.
