Holiday Ghost Event: Baby Britain

WHERE: Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry
WHAT: Due to visiting holiday ghosts, some students and staff find themselves living in the past...and a great deal younger than they're used to. But not all of them, so I hope they know how to babysit!

[Tony sits in a window crevasse as Tess walks past.]

Hey!

[He slips off the window.]

Who's your daddy? Does he work here?

[She jumps back a bit, realizing she's obviously not at home]

My daddy is Lionel Luthor, he works in a big office... he lives in a castle though.

Is he a teacher? Because this is a school for magic.

Which, is pretty cool. Hey, gotta learn it somewhere.

No, he's a business man. He said I probably won't go to a magic school because I'm not special enough to have done any yet.

Well you're in a magic school. Guess you are special enough.

Are you a wizard too?

Yup.

[He puts his hands in his pockets and rocks back and fourth on his feet grinning in a very self pleased manner.]

Pureblood for generations. I'll probably be going to Salem Institute when I'm old enough. Might even get in early too.

Luthor? I've heard that name before. Dad's mentioned it a few times I think... Or it was in the paper?

My dad is super rich and a powerful wizard, that's probably why you know it. I've heard of Stark before.

Sounds about right. Because you'll have heard of Howard Stark. Everyone has. He invents things for muggles and wizards, he has his own company and everything.

I bet they know each other then. I don't go to any of the parties though, or I would have met you if you went.

I've only been to the parties we've had at home in New York. But only because I snuck out of my room.

My brother does that, but he lives at the main house so he can. Are they any fun?

Bunch of grown ups with drinks talking about budgets, expenditures and what fantastic thing my dad's going to think up. So, boring really.

That doesn't sound like fun at all. I think I'll avoid sneaking in to those kinds of parties.

Yeah. Believe me, that's a great idea there.

Have you found anything fun to do here?

[She starts looking up and down the hall]

Sherlock and I found the kitchen. And there's enough snow to make a fort.

Those both sound like fun. Where is the kitchen?

[Tony points past her then starts walking off towards the kitchen.]

[She follows him and keeps looking around since she's never been in a magic castle before.]

So, I can't do magic yet, can you do it?

I've had things come to me when I've thought about them. But only once. And it hit me in the face.

[He frowns at his story, thinking it was a lot cooler when he started it]
