WHAT: Due to visiting holiday ghosts, some students and staff find themselves living in the past...and a great deal younger than they're used to. But not all of them, so I hope they know how to babysit!

[Thankfully this is before everything gets awkward, and Eridan doesn't think too much at all to when she grabs his hand. It's just easier for them to keep up, he thinks to himself. As the two went down the hall, the first open room came up, and Eridan started to pick up his pacing.]

There's a room! Let's try it!

[It's definitely easier for them to keep up, since she's a bit smaller than him. She gives a small gasp.]

This is a castle right? What if there's like monsters n' stuff?

[wwehs]

Pshhh. It's okay! I'm tough and I'll scare 'em away. An' if they think they're tougher than me, then...

[He pulls his wand from the bundle of robes, where it was safely hidden. Now, he actually doesn't know any spells or anything at this age, but it's his! And he can bluff his way pretty well.]

I got this! An' nothin'll get us when I got this thing out! Papa's scared off tons of stuff with his wand, and I got a feelin' this is my wand!!

[She gasps a little. Her mama told her never to touch her and her papa's wands because she'd get into trouble. She gives a tug on his sleeve, her eyes wide.]

You won't get into twouble will you? Mama said kids can't do magic yet.

[wwehs]

[He grins to that, swishing his wand around a tiny bit before tucking it safely back into the robe.]

S'okay! I'll just scare 'em off, I won't use magic yet, nope nope.

[nomorals]

[Marcie nods as though in approval, though she doesn't really know what she's nodding about. She only knows that he's going to protect her, and for some reason she feels really comforted by that.]
