WHAT: Due to visiting holiday ghosts, some students and staff find themselves living in the past...and a great deal younger than they're used to. But not all of them, so I hope they know how to babysit!

[She shakes her head in return, giving a tiny sniff. Well, he was family so that was a start!]

I think mama must'a brought me here with her and daddy, because I'm never allowed t' go out of the house without 'n adult. She must've forgotten Hambo because I couldn't find him.

[Oh god, so cute.]

"Well, this is where I go to school so maybe you all came here to visit me. They're probably talking to the teachers so you should be okay.
Um, I don't know who Hambo is but maybe we can go find him."

[You get wide eyes, Marshall.]

You go to school here? If mama and papa are here then does that mean this is going to be my school one day?

[She looks down at her feet, crossing her arms behind her back.]

Hambo is my very special friend. Grandpa Simon gave him to me.

[He is fighting not to just crack up. Oh Marcie, are you going to hear about this when all of this madness is over with.]

Maybe! That might be what they're talking about. Usually you don't go here until you're around eleven, so you have a while to go yet.

[Oh, it's a toy she's talking about.]

Grandpa Simon? Hmm..well,I haven't seen it around but maybe your Mum has him. I'm sure he's safe.

[She will tear you a new one, but for now she nods her head.]

'm five an' a half. So that's...that's three...six? years.

[She frowns before she looks up at him.]

We don't get to see Grandpa Simon much anymo' cause he's in Mungo's. But if mama has Hambo she would've left him with me.

[Trying SO hard not to laugh when he hears her age.]
Oh, you're five? Yeah, you've got a little ways to go still.

[She hadn't previously mentioned any Grandpa Simon so this was all news to him. If he were in Mungos though it might not have been something she'd want to talk about in the first place.]

I see..well, maybe he's around here somewhere. We can go look if you want. [Suddenly something occurs to him. Since she's alive again she'd eventually need to be fed real food.] Meanwhile, are you hungry or anything?

[She pauses at the question before nodding.]

'm hungry.

[marshall_lee]

[He holds a hand out to her.]

All right, we can go to the kitchens and get you something to eat then. What would you like?

[She beams up at him as she reaches up to take his hand, standing away from the wall.]

Ice cream!

[marshall_lee]

[He takes her now warm hand in his and laughs.]

All right..ice cream it is then.
