There was a bit of awkward silence while Bruce rummaged, Maxim watching him with his brow furrowed in confusion. Why did Bruce bring him something? The Ravenclaw didn't do anything wrong, this should definitely be the other way around. This was not how these things were supposed to go.

But of course, it's rude to refuse them, and really, the fact that Bruce had thought about him and brought him something, even though they'd fought, makes his stomach do fluttery little flips. So he rises to his feet, slowly approaching the other boy to take the box, his head ducked slightly.
