Dave had never actually met Roxy's mom that he could remember. That he could remember well, anyway. Apparently she'd been there when he and Rose were born, but like hell could he remember that.

So when he saw a grown-ass woman who looked suspiciously like the woman he did know to be his mom, he froze up. And then she called his name.
