Sokka had always been fine with cold weather... And snow was his very favorite part. He loved it.

So much, in fact, that he could forgive the flurry that veered off its downward course to attack him as he left the castle.

Stranger things and all that. That Jude girl'd had a point.

So instead, Sokka began rolling snowballs. He had no specific target in mind, but there were a few people out and about and it was just snow. It wasn't hurting anyone. (Unless a certain Slytherin fourth year happened to be spotted, and then he'd have to figure something out.)

Finally, he spotted an unsuspecting student looking just distracted enough and flung a snowball their way.

[Applejack had been minding her own business when a snowball hit her in the back of the head. She blinked a bit at the cold before reaching up to brush it out of her ponytail, shaking her head and turning to look behind her.]

Sokka shrugged, putting on his best act of innocence. "Gee, I don't know, Appplejack. Didn't see them."
