[closed] Egad i do believe i just "scored".

WHO: Jake and Vriska (sitting in a tree, platonically holding hands because SHE'S 13, JAKE.)
TONE: Silly. THIS. IS. HOMESTUCK. Also competitive and dumb because those two personality points stand as common interests.
RATING: PG-13 for their foul mouths, though they probably won't be boinking anytime soon, methinks.
WHEN: January... 7. WOW I SUCK.
WHAT: They're racing because Jake wants to prove to her that he's not incompetent and also maybe show off his SWEET BICEPS (come on he is sexy like lady croft in short shorts) so that she may fall in love with him and they can ride a horse meaningfully to the sunset??? Sounds legit.

Jake gets to the meeting place on time, as promised, because like he said; he would loathe to keep a lady waiting. On the journal, with her pretty blue text, she sounded like the woman of his dreams; would she be the woman for him? Would her skin possess a distinct, barely notable but somewhat noticeable cerulean hue? These are the things he wondered about as he stood there at the middle of the field, broom in hand and knees exposed by virtue of wearing shorts.

Upon further thinking, the thoughts running through his mind sounded malicious, but then again, he was also here for other reasons! He genuinely, legitimately wanted to meet an adventurous woman like him, and to meet her and befriend her with no ulterior, romantic motives, because for all of the Gryffindor House's talk of bravery and courage, nary a classmate wanted to discuss much adventuring with him. Perhaps they may be bosom companions in adventure! That thought kind of warms his heart, and oh gosh, he wanted to meet her so.

Even though she threatened him with being on time, Vriska decided to be fashionable late, herself. Or rather, she watched Jake from a vacant classroom until she decided he had been left waiting long enough. And he did wait, too, instead of getting fed up and leaving. Weird. But she supposed if he had the balls to challenge her in the first place, she might as well let him prove it.

Nearly twenty minutes after the decided time, Vriska finally made her appearance. She just walked up right next to him, holding her shiny new broom at her side.

"What are you staring at?"
