When the cat is away, the mice will play
Who: anyone in the student body
Tone: PARTY
Rating: PG-13 for potty mouths
When: During the teachers' trip
Where: Casa Strider (Old Compton Street, Soho, London)
What: Dave invited everyone over to a party while Bro's gone.
Status: Ongoing
Since this was open for anyone to come at any time for any amount of time, I'm going to make separate threads for Monday-Friday and you can start threads or comment on other peoples' threads whenever your character would be there!
The flat is a one-bedroom flat, so almost everyone who comes will either be on the floor in Dirk and Dave's room (or sharing a bed with/sleeping in a bed instead of one of the boys), or else out in the living room/kitchen/Bro's room. Dave doesn't particularly care where you sleep, so long as moaning is kept to a minimum.
People can also go up on the roof to party, accessed by crawling out of the boys' bedroom window and up the fire escape, but I wouldn't suggest sleeping up there unless you want to wake up covered in pigeon shit.
Dave will be manning the turntables, music-wise, or else playing things from his computer. There's also a TV with video game systems, including ones that can play DVDs. He'll also be watching the drinks to make sure no one slips anyone anything. Purebloods will probably be in for some culture shock.

You should definitely experience as much of it as you can. It can be really helpful to have a foot in both worlds. And you get to do all the fun stuff from both, haha!
Has anyone shown you the internet yet? You have to see it before you go home. I'd offer, but. It's kind of hard to use if you can't see what you're doing. (Hehehehe)

Nooooo but I can get Dirk to do it later! I have all summer! [She does a double take at that last comment.] Wait, you're blind? Holy shit.

You're going to be here all summer? Lucky!
(Hehehehe) Yep! Little potions accident back in second year, heheh. Protip: never hold your face directly over the cauldron.

I usually stay with my aunt and my cousin but Aunt Roxanne said I could stay for the whole summer! It's my first time hanging out in the muggle world for more than a few hours.
Geez, that sucks. Like really sucks. I'll remember that when I start school.

Oh wow, there's so much cool stuff. You have to check out all the electronic shit ever. And ride the underground! And go to muggle shops. The wizarding and muggle worlds are just... different. It's neat to compare them.
Haha, yeah. So you're a firstie, huh? What's your name? I'm Terezi Pyrope.

Hehe, I'm gonna have to get Dirk to take me everywhere now!
[Oh no, Terezi, now you've got her started.] Okay so, there's this wizard apprentice named Calmasis... [And then she proceeds to explain the entire plot of the first book. This could take a while and with how excited she's getting her weird hybrid Edinburgh-Lancashire accent becomes more and more unintelligible.]
