Shinra smiles back at Gamzee's housemates -apparently oblivious to their suspIcious looks- before following him to the third year dorms.

He does note the change in Gamzee's smile and decides that he's just not going to mention that he told Professor Matteris -and Professir Donoghue- that Gamzee was suffering from narcoleptic hallucinations. Instead, he offers him an amiable and hopefully disarming smile. "I'm glad to hear that. For a while, I thought she was seriously upset with us. But I suppose it all turned out well. Are these your dorms?"
