Murdoc doesn't even look suspicious at the manner in which the other man walks, he's just smiling pleasantly at him, happy to have a guest in his office. He laughs again, but it's more an amused chuckle than his previous outburst.

He gives his shoulders a small shrug, because he honestly doesn't know. He doesn't remember being grumpy or irritated. Right now, everything is sunshine and rainbows.

He stands, reaching for Rhys's hand and taking it in his own, giving him a soulful look. "I am so sorry for makin' you feel that way. I am sure I did not mean it." He pauses for a moment before looking thoughtful. "No. It's before noon you silly man!"
