WHAT: Kiku and Lovino studying and trying to overcome how awkward they are.

Kiku sets his bag on the table, sighing quietly as he takes his seat. He pulls out his books, saying to Lovino, "I'm glad you waited...I am very sorry for making you wait." Kiku says, opening his book. "Have you waited long?"

"Not really? Only an hour, that's nothing compared to how long my brother usually takes so it's fine really." he said as he stretched out attempting to wake himself up.

Kiku sorts through his things, looking for his notes on the assignment, glancing at Lovino at that response. "Really, so long....Your brother must be....something." He finishes lamely, not sure what to say without offending him.

"He takes for fucking ever, longer than a girl. He really is ridiculous sometimes." huffs Lovino remembering the time his brother made him wait two hours just to go to the store.

"A-Ah, enough about me though! We should probably start on this soon huh.." he says shifting around thinking to himself he really did need to work on how not to come off so harsh.

Kiku nods sympathetically to Lovino at that. While he doesn't have any siblings and can't directly relate, he understands that it must be frustrating for him. He doesn't pry or ask any more questions, though. He looks over the assignment.

"Ah, yes, of course...here, I have written it down." Kiku says, showing him. "It seems to be easy enough."

Lovino stares at Kiku's notes with confusion. "Uh...you made a lot of notes in Japanese...would you mind telling me what some of that says?"

Kiku looks at them, then nearly slams his head against the desk. He'd completely forgotten! "Ah...right. I'm sorry. We have to read these pages on antidotes, and discuss which ingredients combat which effect."

Lovino stares at Kiku with dismay, he honestly had no idea what Kiku was talking about considering he was either sleeping during class, or the concept just flew over his head because he didn't understand. "I-I'm going to need a lot of help, I hardly know any of this!" he stutters

Kiku nods. "Maybe we should read first, then discuss it..." he offers.

"I'm really not going to get any sleep between now and the test, god damn it.." he groans, shoving his face in hands.

"I'm sorry you got stuck studying with someone stupid.."

Kiku gives him a sympathetic look. "That's too bad...I'm sorry." He says. "I'm sure you are not stupid. You can do fine." Kiku replies, watching him.

A few hours pass and Lovino was spent, his brain was totally fried, but he had to admit, having Kiku as a study partner really did help a lot.

"My head hurts so much, my God why is there so much stuff to learn! Ah well, I mean I did learn a lot but holy shit that took a lot longer than I wanted.." he moans
