Murdoc tries to back peddle away as soon as Peter's hands slide onto him. This wasn't at all the adventure he had imagined it to be, though it didn't seem disappointing. Just, terribly and horribly embarrassing and annoying.

He shakes his head at Peter because he's incapable of a coherent disagreement to that whispered lie. He's feeling himself getting more and more irritated and the unicorns are watching and he feels so awkward and his emotions are welling up. What in god's name did that boy do to him? This is a horrible charm! Suddenly he doesn't know if he wants to cry or to yell or to grab Peter and kiss him.

So he punches him. In the jaw. In front of the unicorns.
