[Ib shook her head numbly, still trying to drown out the saccharine tones of her double as it continued to wreck whatever good she had thought about herself. She ceased screaming, but continued to press down on her ears and close her eyes, in the hopes that whatever the voice was it would go away.]

Don't be rude, Ib. You're being ungrateful. Just like before.

[Abruptly, she lunged forward and threw her arms around the other girl's waist with a sob. She buried her face into the girl's robes, body trembling and tears soaking into the fabric as if she could block out the sound.]

[Molly expected a no from her but that was okay, she was going to keep on trying. However, she wasn't expecting such a hug from Ib but she wasn't going to reject her. Instead, she let out a small smile before returning the hug.

She was patting her back to calm her down.]

There, everything will be okay. I'll be over soon...just breath and take deep breaths...

Nothing will be okay Ib, because you're not a good friend or daughter.

[Fingers clutched the robe even further as she squeezed her eyes shut. It was somewhat comforting to feel the soothing motions on her back, but she was far from ok. It would take at least five minutes before she would even stop shaking.]

[Molly didn't seem to mind, she'll stand by Ib for as long as she needs. It was selfish but she needed something to distract her own shadowy figure in the corner.

You think you can escape from me? How cute, you think you're playing mother? You're using her for you own needs...

She took a sharp inhale before closing her eyes to calm herself down.]

[At long last, she calmed down to hiccups and small sobs. She still seemed very upset, but at least it was a good change from outright wailing. Reluctantly she unhooked her fingers from the older student's robes and stepped back, sniffing and rubbing her eyes. It was difficult to talk, but she managed to whimper out her thanks.]
