[Who knew the Great Hall could look like a classy club. The music is loud, the lights are all over the place and the dance floor is begging you to cut a rug.]

[In the ancient and beautiful lands of Norway, people are known for their exotic dances.
Thor isn't the best dancer, but damn it he tries. He's excited enough that he's trying to get other people into the dancing too, which generally involves slamming against them and dancing in their personal bubble.]

[Thor. Thor what are you even doing. Does that even count as dancing?

Steve wants to say something but he's seen the way he's thrown himself against people and he doesn't want to end up in the infirmary. So he is going to stand there, awkwardly holding his cup of punch.]

[Thor is a little bit worn out from his dancing, so he's just going to drape over Steve and take that punch from him.]

You should dance.

[Hey he was drinking that...]

I don't know how to dance.

Neither do I! Can you tell? [The answer may or may not break his heart, chose wisely Steve.]

[Katniss has her elbows up while walking by the dancing Thor, he's younger but he looks like he could take out a troll.]

[Not so fast pretty lady! Thor stops dancing but he's still sort of swaying.]

[HELL YES. Gamzee will enthusiastically slam back, honking merrily.]

[FINALLY someone who knows how to dance. Thor is going to thrust around with the music.]

I had almost lost hope!

[They can do some chest bumping, maybe a little slam dancing? Whatever, man, Gamzee is game, though he sort of seems to dance like he's having a barely contained seizure.]

Never do that, motherfucker! In what?

[And Thor seizure dances right back! It's not about the grace of your moves! It's about how many body parts you can move at once!!]

Nobody here can dance!

[Totally true!]

Oh, man, that ain't being the case at all! Everyone getting their groove on out here be dancing - it's just a different thing for different people. You got to be all expressing yourself! [grinning]

It certainly is! [Thor gives a snooty little glance around the room.]
There are too many people sulking on the sidelines, that is not expressing anything!

[mo_cara]

[looks around, blinking, as though he just now noticed] Oh, shit, motherfucker, you are dead on right! We got to get on this motherfuckin' tragedy!

[And without warning, Gamzee will go find some poor innocent bystander and starts dancing around the now-completely-embarrassed person with spastic enthusiasm.]

[OH NO YOU DON'T! Thor dashes after Gamzee and assists him in their dance dance revolution. He's pretty sure the poor soul is about to have a heart attack, but the music compels him to dance along with Gamzee.]

No more school! You should all be DANCING!

[Quietly snaps a few shots of Thor's... 'dancing', from the edge of the dance floor then tucking his camera away before Thor can notice. Hey, he promised Loki.]

[Thor doesn't notice the camera, but he sure does notice Bruce.]
Bruce! Come dance with me!

[BLINKS and smiles awkwardly, backing away slowly.]

No thanks, I'm not a dancer, really!

[Now he's stalking closer like a bird of prey.]

Neither am I! Let us dance!

[In a quiet voice:] I can tell.

Really, Thor, it's fine! I uh... I'm a bit tired today! How about you go try dancing with Steve, huh?

/cocks head and stares

[NO IS NOT A WORD HE KNOWS. Especially in such a vague form. He grabs Bruce's wrist and tugs him forward.]

Later! I want to dance with Bruce!

/backs away slowly

[CLEARLY BRUCE NEEDS TO TUTOR THOR IN ENGLISH MORE. Squawks as he's yoinked, digging his heels in.]

[Fine! Thor will dance around you!]
