WHAT: Passing the dragon egg over to the other father

Denley looked down at the egg in his hands as he waited for the other boy he'd been paired with for this assignment. He'd never spoken to the Hufflepuff before this week, but he genuinely liked Tavros. Although a little on the shy side, Denley hoped that he'd made a good enough impression. First impressions and the following after were always important to him, something that had been drilled into him since childhood.
He had actually been afraid to take the egg when it was handed out. His own upbringing hadn't been exactly ideal, he knew, but he'd tried his best to not let that deter him from helping raise the egg. He swung his legs under the desk he was sitting on top of, fingers brushing over the shell as he he hummed lightly.
