Peter isn't about to allow such standoffishness. It makes the unicorns nervous again, and a couple young ones start snorting and pawing the ground. Quick as a whip, he turns and slides his arms around Murdoc, pulling the man close like a lover. He can't resist a little bit of a jibe and whispers softly against Murdoc's ear. "Remember how much you love me, babe."

But he tightens the grip subtly, as a warning not to struggle and speaks more loudly. "Relax! Put away that sour look and relish a sight few ever get to see. Doesn't it lift your heart?"
